Not my idea, credits to the guy who came up with it but its good so im gonna talk about it. Megumi, or any other recent 10 shadows user couldve just exorcised mahoraga by putting piercing bull on a treadmill, making it gain a ton of power by letting it run for a few days, then summoning the big guy and letting bull kill it in 1 attack with its built up power. Since its one attack theres no adapting to it and bull would be able to get enough speed to kill it eventually.

I feel like Higuruma’s Domain should be classified as among the absolute strongest for a very simple reason: You CANNOT counter it in any way. Higuruma’s domain forces a binding vow of non-violence upon all those within, and trying to create your own domain would certainly count. So it’s literally the only domain that you can’t counter. Once you’re inside, you can’t escape it.

I agree with the majority of what you said, but I disagree on some aspects. Simplicity isn’t bad in itself. The reason I dislike Demon Slayer is not because it’s simple, but because it doesn’t add anything. The characters are one-dimensional, flawless human beings. The main villain is foolish, and the plot doesn’t make sense. Why is this established stronger race, the demons, losing to much weaker humans? It doesn’t make any sense. On the other hand, complex stories don’t inherently make them great. A great example is Jujutsu Kaisen. It’s often hailed as a great story, but I disagree. The way they use death feels like nothing but shock value. Characters are introduced as game changers, only to die in the next chapter by the main villain. The power system and the way the Jujutsu Kaisen world works are flawed. Curses are created because humans can’t control their cursed energy output, so why doesn’t the Jujutsu world address this? These inconsistencies ruin the story for me. Simplicity doesn’t mean bad. Dragon Ball is a simple story, but it gives us amazing characters. Goku is a great character-simple-minded in some aspects, but his main motivation for not killing is because he believes villains are just flawed humans who can be rehabilitated. Look at his friend group; most of them were villains he fought and then befriended. Frieza is one of the best villains in the show. He’s a simple character, the definition of a spoiled kid born with everything and taught to be superior. When he starts losing that superiority, he whines and acts like a child. But the way he acts, presents himself, and speaks gives him complexity and makes him a great villain. Cell is also a great villain-cocky but smart, and the way he handles everything adds depth. These aspects make Dragon Ball’s simplistic story great. In the end, Demon Slayer is bad because it has bad writing, not because it’s simple. And complexity doesn’t always mean great storytelling
