Panel members may be independent of the CICA, but this doesn't mean the CICA officer in a hearing won't attempt to sway a tribunal judge. Some of these judges are rubbish, and they can easily bully victims if they don't want to hear evidence from a victim. Seriously, who are these people in this video? After what I experienced in a hearing a few years ago, these people in this video are total liars. The system in the UK fails so many victims it's unbelievable. The CICA only compensate 21% of victims anyway. They are a devious organisation and also tell lies to keep piles of money. To be honest they are junkies in suits.
The UK 'family courts' are TOTALLY inept, corrupt and sexist (against men) as is EVERY organisation feeding into them: They put women and children in danger and do not even bother to follow the law. This is totally provable but the police refuse to look into it. Every complaint is stonewalled or refuted without any consideration. FACT. An MP asking questions in the House for me was lied to. Police even when they see a woman lying to them or to court, even concerning *the worst* of allegations will do NOTHING, even when two officers were shaking with anger (one weeping) at blatant child abuse in front of them and even retain proof of the woman lying in court. I had over TEN hearings against me I was never even notified of - I was shocked when I found out about the first and and incredulous when I found out years later there had been ten I now know of - and there could be more. Helen Ingledew assaulted and battered our 3 year old son in front of us at a (farcical) official meeting. Records of official meetings have 'disappeared'. Solicitors give *totally* wrong advice about the law. And far, far more... Most important of all I was never, ever given the possibility to speak or to defend myself even though I had absolute proof even about my person that my ex was lying deliberately, constructively and continuously about everything. As blatant and as brazenly as you like. The system is totally open to manipulation by women - indeed they stand to gain so much monetarily as well as custody and all manner of benefits, no matter that they are unhinged/spiteful/manipulative liars, even violent - they are totally encouraged by massive incentives. (And it does happen that men play the courts, too, on occasion, of course, sadly). Iff you’ve been to prison before, unfortunately you have no right to compensation anymore and it’s most likely for life ! You’ve lost most of your rights as a citizen so best thing to do is not engage with police or courts at all ! Because it will not help you at all . get citizenship elsewhere and renounce British citizenship and it’s limited rights. Plain English for you . 👍

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS SERVICE! Been trying to get through to OCMC every single day for over 3 months and no one ever answers! I have 5 judgements I wish to proceed with and there's no way of doing so until I can speak to someone. I'm fucking LIVID!!!!! Just pick the damn phone up!

Hi, i’ve just had my appeal here in ireland which concluded stating… “We will now do up an award and send it to you through the secretary” I’ve now just received a notice stating contrary and stating they refused to pay… Surely i can complain about this misleading and contradictory statements?… i’d be so great full for any advice…
The CICA are a dishonest organisation who keep money they should be giving out, and many lawyers are lazy when it comes to compensation of this type.

Is this an alternative to family courts? I can't seem to get advice from anyone and my son is on child protection plan because I have complained about having to fight for my child to have an education

"We are totally independent of the C.I.C.A"!! laughable....The tribunal is a huge con to help line barrister and solicitor's pockets. I had two hearings and the panel put me on trial both times, I should have been given compensation for the treatment i suffered at the hands of this lot, never mind the criminal act that destroyed my life. If your solicitor suggests going to tribunal please don't waste you time and money, the outcome will be the same only you'll be worse off financially due to solicitor/barrister fees. Incidentally in my case the decision WAS NOT given at the end of the hearing as suggested in this video, I had to wait over a week for the decision which was just more punishment for the victim who, in my case had already waited 4 years for the case to be finalised.
