if you're not super familiar with the map, find a river and follow it to the nearest settlement. i literally get in the river to do this if i'm lost lol the maintenance skill makes loot you sell more expensive. repair peasants' clothes to get easy xp. loving the playthrough so far!
remember to take a moment to treasure hunt occasionally. some of the best loot in the game is treasure.
Maybe start the Bird in the Hand quest - Rattay hunter guy. Keep a bird cage, drop it and it will show up on the map, then pick it up. Useful if you become mad lost.

Tip for the day: Archery. Many people have quit playing this game because of the difficulty of the archery. Or people cheat and yes I said cheat on this by getting a mod which shows the pointer dot. Why do I say cheat. Well the game wasnt made for you to do that. Sooooooo...just calling it what it is. This isnt Skyrim. Moving on. How to be successful with archery. Well it actually isnt that difficult. I know I will immediately get doubters. But I will explain it right now. I know there are FPS games people play where they have sniper rifles and have laser accuracy but in the same game you will have an area effect weapon like a rocket launcher or grenade launcher. Whatever it might be and the reticle for that weapon either doesn't exist or has this huge circle for the pointer. When you shoot those you dont and cant really point directly at the target if it is a ways away. You have to adjust and use a technique that is actually taught in firearm training. Which you use a "sight picture" technique with both eyes open and feel where to shoot more than you actually look down the sights. That's why ghost ring sights exist. Because the mind over time with hand eye coordination and muscle memory just place whatever you are shooting at in the right place. This is exactly what you have to do with archery in this game. Yes it takes time but if you go at it with the rocket launcher mind set it will make it so much easier to start hitting things sooner and get better faster.

@@mcsparshatt17 Hmmmm..and I suppose you missed the part of her first video where she specifically requested tips, tricks and any help people who have played this game a lot can offer. Since my Steam account says I have played 970 hours I thought I may have something to share that would prove useful. And she has never played it on Hardcore and it was years ago that she played. And by the way what does that have to do with my tip? That she has played before? As I said many people quit because of the mechanics of the game specifically the archery. And just one other thing. Just because you finish a game or get to the end, of any game really, doesn't mean you were actually playing the game.
From what I read on the Wiki, the treasure map thing only applies to the standard treasure maps, not the DLC treasure maps. And I think the ancient maps are DLC. Though I died so much going to get them on normal...

You will absolutely flay your arm and get a bleeding injury without any arm armour. I took it off for stealth reasons and nearly died from blood loss
I consider long videos secondary content. I have played a lot of KCD, so I don't really need the visuals, so I have done the accounts for a community garden during the first two hours of this, and will now play something whilst listening to the rest.

I don't know if this gets brought up in stream later, but "The chests of the non DLC Treasure maps will be missing the high end gear". The Ancient Maps are DLC ones and the line from the Wiki implies that the gear will be there for those. And the Warhorse gear isn't best in slot by a long way, but it's all worth 1 groschen, which means repairs cost almost nothing. Which is cheesy. But also useful.

Hey, Lili🙂 I have a suggestion for one game, which I think You will really enjoy. A plague's tale I've played both the games already few times (there are already two from the series- first one is "Innocence" and the second- "Requiem") and they are from my favourites! The story and gameplay are both interesting and the graphics are amazing 😍

The only attack that matters in this game is the thrust, and if you thrust from the upper left, you hit the head. And the best weapon to thrust is the war hammer with the spike on it. So I suggest practising maces.

Not sure if this tip came up already, but if you level up Drinking and get the Safe Passage perk, it can save you from being lost or overburdened. As long as you have enough booze on you, you can drink yourself to oblivion wherever you are and wake up in a safe bed.

I'm doing a hardcore/all negative buffs run right now, also trying for the virgin and no-kill achievements. A "virtuous" run (trying not to steal either, although I've had to make some exceptions). (I'm not doing a 3-deaths rule or perma-death run.) Running around Bohemia with no weapons, I'm having to really rely on stealth and unarmed combat, and trying to level charisma so I can try sweet-talking people. It's a game-changer. Mutt's a big help in distracting bandits so I can make a get-away, or so I can sneak up on them or sucker-punch them.
That sounds really fun!

sneak! ALLWAYS! and pick flowers, and do alcamy! and look for tresure! Never KEEP chainmail as loot. to heavy.
If there is a tournament coming up, those are a good way of leveling up your combat. Don't forget to bet with Peshek to maximize your winnings. Also, the best way I know how to make money is to travel a particular path between Sasau and Skalitz, which has multiple potential skirmishes. Skalitz itself almost always has a skirmish going on there, and the guys there tend to have some of the most expensive gear. Be warned that those are high-level bandits, and they'll be tough fighters. Using this method, I made over three hundred thousand groschen in one of my playthroughs.

It's an automatic horse. Henry doesn't have to change gears manually.

The other day in my hardcore play through I had terrible lockpicking and needed to find some barn trunks while finding higher income flowers and wandered to Ledetchko. Found one of the "treasure chests" (forgot it was one until I looted the bag), found fancy armor at the tanners, found more fancy armor and weapons in a barn in town (a guard's stash? Edit: it was a chest in a barn next to where this episode ends). It was nuts. But I have house rules, so I can't wear any of it anytime soon, and it'll take two trips to stash everything at the miiller's (I'm not allowed to be over encumbered--because why would I be travelling with the gigantic bags I would need to carry that much?). Good to know though from this episode that there's more beginner goodies in the main house of the good barn.

The executioner actually has a very good longsword on him. You picked a sword perk that is for shortswords, it doesn't work on the longsword.

@@LiliaTV Yes, it's better in every regard except slash damage but has an absolutely lethal stab. It is my go to early on.

@@LiliaTV Don’t forget about the water trick, it’s very handy (just apply a potion to 5 drinking waters of same condition). I recommend Trojan horse from Neuhof because it’s cheap and has highest carry weight capacity but it’s very shy so I recommend utilising the horsnip perk from herbalism (30 herbs stored on your horse). There is also cool hidden horse armor near Ledetchko along with the best bridle and some Groschen (I can’t post a link so google “Chanfron and criniere” if you’re interested).

Maybe watch one of Griff Gaming's videos. He came up with a crazy build that has the highest amalgamation of armor, charisma and stealth. It will definitely help you on this playthrough.

I am surprised. This was uploaded the moment I got on youtube (it said 3 seconds ago) and I was just thinking about playing this game threw again. Honestly the combat system and me never truly melded so honestly Imma watch threw some of this. By the by are you using controller? I've a dualshock 4 off brand that I use ds4windows to run as a xbox 360 virtual because I'm using steam but honestly hate keyboard gaming. Grew up on the n64 playstation and xbox x'D so I'm a horrid PC gamer.
