Somehow, both shots look the same. Can you upload an 8k recording? To see the difference. What is it like if you don't upload it, is it also pixelated or looks much better?
Yes, I exported the video in 8K and uploaded it to KZread, but KZread did not render the video in 8K. I do not know the reason. I have uploaded the raw versions of the videos in the description section, you can download them and compare them yourself. In general, the difference between the two cameras is that the new camera captures a little more detail, but the image has more grain. If you are going to upload the video to KZread in 360 degrees, the difference between the two cameras will not be noticeable due to the limited bitrate of KZread. However, if you are going to crop the video and use it without 360 degrees, then you can see the video in a little more detail.
@@aspetmanukyan it takes a lot longer to process. Anyway for quality comparisons you should be exporting a flat 4k. The "vr" feature really bottlenecks quality.

Thanks for the video, very nice! Was this shot on auto settings? Also, any issues uploading to youtube? It seems I can upload x3 360 VR videos, but if they are over 15 mins or so, it fails while processing.

Hey it doesn´t make sense to compare the Blackmagic with ISO800 in the highlights. Its best Performance is arround 200-400 ISO. But when you want to compare Shadows, you will have to start from to 1000 ISO. You can compare ist easliy while having a lenscpap on the BM4k and switching the ISO up from 100 to 1000 you will see what i mean clearly then. Cheers and thanks for the comparison!
Does the 4k not have the most highlights at iso 1000 and the most shadow info at 1250? and 400 iso is a nice blend of the two? Thats the way I always understood it, but also why the pocket is so noisy here. I mean realistically the Alexa has way better range across the board, but I imagine shooting at 800 here and using highlight recovery would make it seem like the 4k is kind of competing...even if the shadows are trash. :)
@@joshkiddfilms1295Correct, as the entire DR is being shifted upwards, so you would gain highlight information as you increase iso and lose shadow detail. The reverse is true, go down in iso and get more shadow detail (cleaner blacks) while losing information in highlights.

Magic lantern'i silip silip yeniden ve M2'ye uyumlu farklı magic lantern yazılımlarını yükleyip kullandım, makina yine kastı, dondu, eror verdi sapıttı. Bende sinirlenip bi daha yüklememek üzere sildim. Şimdi iyiki de silmişim diyorum. Zaten bu riskler olmasa fabrika yükleyip gönderirdi. Ha sorunsuz kullananlar var yok değil. Ama ben kötü bi tecrübe edindim, yokluğunu da aramıyorum.

The RED is clearly losing highlight data, and this is a dynamic range test not a sharpness or noise test, so the ARRI is the pretty clear winner.

And I think you forgot that Monstro is a VV sensor, so you definitely cannot compare it to the Alexa with the same lenses... you should use a 29mm lens on the Monstro to get a similar AOV. Do the test again and we'll se which camera looks better...
1- Next month I will compare with Mini LF vs Monstro. That time I will select 4:1 compression ratio. 2- This is not resolution test. I wanted to use same lens because I wanted to compare dynamic range. It should be same brightness level. And also I used in test 2 different lens with Monstro.
RED files were recorded at 10:1 compresion! This is not how you test correctly and fair!
HDRx record options accept only 10:1. Next month I will record without HDRx then I can record 4:1.

Arri Alexa's highlights recovered and shadows cleaner then Red Monstro. So Alexa's image dynamic range is higher and cleaner. Conslusion: Alexa's image looks better...
