Ovi search misc, misc summon arch, arch pop petite to search pill and summon xeno, ovi pop arch, bring back petite, xeno pop petite, summon frost and lv 4, go dolkka, lars, ucts. Hope this helps and makes sense

I'm getting back into yugioh through master duel and duel links. The last time I played was 2006. I used a toon deck back then, and placed third in a tournament. Win or lose, I just have fun playing toons. I have a question, why no toon briefcase? I am still new to the new style the game has taken, but it seems effective. I do have trouble using it at the right time, though.

Welcome back! Toon briefcase is a solid card but unfortunately it's been power crept out of being played. With how few disruptions toons can consistently set up, it's better to just play hand traps and staples instead of briefcase or terror. You can definitely add it in if you have the space though.

Make summoning DM the Dragon Knight a 2-card combo instead of a 3-card combo. It's a 3-card combo because DMDK is useless without E-Soul. Also, buff DMDK to protect backrow from banish. Make Salvation activate E-Soul from deck and protect it like DMDK until Salvation itself is removed from the field first. Heck, just that protection effect for E-Soul is better than summoning DMG or DM. Make Rod's effect work from special summoning. Errata Eye of Timaeus so Rod can search it. Make Navigation be able to summon DM from hand, deck, or GY and use its spell/trap negate on the same turn. Make Magicians' Combination summon a DM or DMG from hand, deck, or GY while keeping its old effect. All of these changes would make DM deck playable, maybe even rogue!!!

This is why we need a complete rehaul to the archetype because all the support is outdated and needs to be changed. So the easiest route is to just get all new cards for the deck. The only 2 card combo for Dragon Knight is Branded Fusion and Eternal Soul which is obviously very inconsistent sadly :(

DM sadly it Will only be meta when the support Is really powerfull, not limited once per turn, the old support needs errata to make then more consistent. Needs more Omni negate boss monsters. Quick effects meta cards, searchable key cards. It needs a meta archetype of his own. I dont understand why Konami fears that DM turns a meta archetype

If you dont have ground xeno you can play lost world, small world, or the scrap engine. The deck still functions well with out ground xeno

If you dont have a baby or fossil dig, then you just got unlucky. Everything with this deck is a 2 card combo, so drawing misc and arch is as good as just drawing misc alone...no combo to make 😔

Is there any way to make them more consistent? Sometimes i get hands that i just have to pass my turn on without doing anything. Same if they ash or imperm the soul eating and i don't open the out, or if they called by the miscellaneous.

Called by on misc is just one of those things where you gotta tip your cap so to speak. Very hard to stop that which is why called by is so powerful. Ash can stop many decks but we have an advantage with misc (along with crossout and called by) to play around those cards.

I play Sword Arm of Dragon over Frost to inflict psychic damage to the opponent. Main problem with dinos is no 1 card combo, a lot of bricks and very fragile. By the way how do you feel about Lost World? Any good?

Psychic damage? 😄 Dinos can brick unfortunately, which is why I like small world in the deck to help with that. Lost world is good, but with everyone playing linkuriboh it's just not appropriate to play in the current format. Lost world allows for a couple more combos which is nice.

Is that the one where he plays bystials in it? If so then I would say in this current format it's not the best idea because everyones playing fire monsters and bystials arent as powerful right now. If I'm thinking of the right deck, then it's very strong but I think mines better 😝

Both those decks can be very inconsistent so don't feel bad. Try to play toons as optimized as possible and minimize the number of garnets that you don't need within the deck. that should help the consistency some.

There are decks that, for example can set 4 spell/trap cards from deck or special summon from GY 4 or 5 monster (2500-3000ATK!!!) or that abuse of extra deck combo. Decks that when you go second probably dont have a chance of activate a single effect after several minutes waiting your turn and pass with an empty hand and field lol. But wait "we must ban Dragoon cause is too broken". Incredible

DM at Master Duel or Duel Links has the same problem, only support during promo anniversary (useless support). And skills or archetype cards have usually more cost than benefits. You can see it f.e. in "Dark Magicians" not been "This card name becomes "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl" while on the field". But Blue Eyes archetype even get tuners!!! much more sinergy an searcheable cards.

I went on a 10 WINNING STREAK with your dino deck . In the Last 20 games : lost 3 . Won 17. Diamond V . Played against snake eye/fire king , kashtira , Rescue ace and won them all . Being playing dino for only a few days but i watched how u play it & learned alot . Thank you.

Most people I have noticed don't run with dino decks is because they're quite expensive to build for long term master duel players. Really you have to use dino decks as your first deck to run or else you're gonna struggle to build one in the long run. Aswell as purchasing and generating the right support cards for the dino deck is just absolutely boring and takes too much effort to build one because dinos aren't even built into a structure deck where having the bare minimum of those cards only costs 1500 gems and all ready you got yourself a tournament ready deck but because dinos aren't built into a structure deck then very little people will main dinosaurs like me.

I know what you mean, most meta decks set up 6-8 disruptions and DM will be lucky to do 2. I hate to say it but even with dragoon we'd be irrelevant. Better but irrelevant. It's really a shame DM players get punished because other decks abuse dragoon *sigh*

I know bro, it's getting sad at this point. The deck is so hard to play competitively and even if we got dragoon it wouldn't be enough. The support we have is so outdated that we have to rely on other decks to give us a boost and that's always risky. One day we'll find a way!

Hello and Thank you for the comment!! The simple answer is because it's always best to summon your monsters in def mode, especially if they have a high def like UCT does. Avoids lightning storm, purrely otk, etc

There are decks that, for example can set 4 spell/trap cards from deck or special summon from GY 4 or 5 monster (2500-3000ATK!!!) or that abuse of extra deck combo. Decks that when you go second probably dont have a chance of activate a single effect after several minutes waiting your turn and pass with an empty hand and field lol. But wait "we must ban Dragoon cause is too broken". Incredible
DM at Master Duel or Duel Links has the same problem, only support during promo anniversary (useless support). And skills or archetype cards have usually more cost than benefits. You can see it f.e. in "Dark Magicians" not been "This card name becomes "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl" while on the field". But Blue Eyes archetype even get tuners!!! much more sinergy an searcheable cards.
It is truly a shame that we are punished for other people abusing our card.
I went on a 10 WINNING STREAK with your dino deck . In the Last 20 games : lost 3 . Won 17. Diamond V . Played against snake eye/fire king , kashtira , Rescue ace and won them all . Being playing dino for only a few days but i watched how u play it & learned alot . Thank you.

Most people I have noticed don't run with dino decks is because they're quite expensive to build for long term master duel players. Really you have to use dino decks as your first deck to run or else you're gonna struggle to build one in the long run. Aswell as purchasing and generating the right support cards for the dino deck is just absolutely boring and takes too much effort to build one because dinos aren't even built into a structure deck where having the bare minimum of those cards only costs 1500 gems and all ready you got yourself a tournament ready deck but because dinos aren't built into a structure deck then very little people will main dinosaurs like me.
Yea i wish there was a structure deck and in the past i talked about budget versions of the deck so that may be an option. It's not the most expensive deck but i understand how it can get pricey.

it is sad we still cant use dark dragoon, when there are decks out there that just seem just as powerful but not banned
I know what you mean, most meta decks set up 6-8 disruptions and DM will be lucky to do 2. I hate to say it but even with dragoon we'd be irrelevant. Better but irrelevant. It's really a shame DM players get punished because other decks abuse dragoon *sigh*

I know bro, it's getting sad at this point. The deck is so hard to play competitively and even if we got dragoon it wouldn't be enough. The support we have is so outdated that we have to rely on other decks to give us a boost and that's always risky. One day we'll find a way!

Hello and Thank you for the comment!! The simple answer is because it's always best to summon your monsters in def mode, especially if they have a high def like UCT does. Avoids lightning storm, purrely otk, etc
