I also go to The chamber of commerce to find vendor markets and sign up for them 😊
How do I find your luxe for less products on your website?
LoL cuz that's what happened to me, I read the directions on the hobby lobby kit directions and I thought it meant to add the whole bottle of 50/50 ...I was lye heavy and I can't wait to get my kit tomorrow. Thank you So Much ❤
Thank you!
Can you tell me the percentages for the recipe on the wrapper? I love the bars it made, but I would like to downsize.
Ummmm…I’m only using it for survival candles.
Hey the Makesy starter tart & melts making kit coming back in stock
Love!
If I use 50/50 lye solution and start using it before 4-6 weeks cure time, will the bar last as much as in the later case?
Yes, it will!
Does this for for 4oz jars?
We used a 12oz vessel in that video :)
Where can we buy the wicks from? I keep getting no tunneling and bubbling .. any tips or advice for me :)

At what temperature do you recommend adding fragrance oil to coconut apricot wax for the best hot and cold throw?
The suggested mix and pour temp to start is anywhere from 180-190 F :)
are those ur favorite ones? lol
They're really good!!
Wow dedication 🎉
Any idea of when the lip plumper will be back in stock?
Hi there! Here's the link to it- makesy.com/products/all-natural-instant-lip-plumping-blend?_pos=18&_sid=8005360b8&_ss=r?variant=43240671510682
I would love to see more videos on creating more blends with the small kit.
My candles easily detach from the container and idk why does it happen... so can you suggest some of the steps that I should follow to avoid the above
Try pre-heating your vessel slightly & pouring at a lower temperature. That should do the trick!
In this video you mention using 8oz of distilled water. Your recipe link mentions 7oz. Which is correct? Also, what if I am using FO from another company? You don't have as large of a selection for FO so I buy other scents form other companies. I've used this recipe to a T (aside from the FO) being different and each time my soap comes out too hard and crumbles into pieces when I cut. I've tried it at 22hrs and 18hrs. I'm very confused. Can FO affect it that much!? Or am I missing something else here?
Hi there! The correct amount of water is 7oz, and yes, FO does affect it that much :( You'll need to find a fragrance that has been tested in CP soap. Most suppliers will have that information on their product pages!
Love the video! I am wondering what type of scale to use?
Hiya! Here's a scale we offer: makesy.com/products/digital-scale?_pos=2&_sid=db7a9fe3e&_ss=r?variant=35792997154970
@makesyofficial So all I have to do is use the witch hazel and FO to make my room sprays. In the past I was using the polysoborate and perserative and distilled water but I recently purchased the witch hazel from Makesy so is it really that simple and easy and do I have to use the entire bottle or is that just for me to make 4 containers. Use Les if I’m only doing one or two
Hi! The polysorbate does help so the base and fragrance do not separate! With just the base and fragrance as shown in the video we suggest to shake before every use :) If you are adding distilled water then a preservative may be best to add as well! If you just want to make 1 spray then you would use 0.165oz of fragrance/essential oil and 4oz of base
@@makesyofficial are you referring to the Organic alcohol and witch hazel base from makesy. Becasue I would love to know the formula to using that base if only making one bottle verses 4
@@makesyofficial so I was trying to make just one and I couldn’t get it with the numbers you gave me are those in Fl ounces or grams?
Several meaning? I’ve heard 14-days before burning. I use 464 soy wax . How long should I cure. You said several days but would like a more definite answer. So many suppliers say different things. My hot throw is not good so that why I’m asking
All our wax blends have a cure time of 72 hours. Your wax supplier should have that info on their product pages!
Thank you
this is why i prefer dried herbs
good luck ❤
Of course those are the results, the damn candle association did it
Hi 👋🏻
👋🏾
What diameter vessel and size wick is in the appropriate wick one?
It depends on your wax type! Generally a .5" wide wick works with the allure :)
So shining girl))) i love it! 😄
Can you used the wax for sculpture candles too?
Hi! yes! We have a few makers who use our pillar waxes for sculpture candles!
Super blurry. Or is it just me?
Oops! Sorry about that! We'll see if we can get that fixed!
Wonderful video. 🎉super clear
Glad it was helpful!
How do you get the oil and the witch hazel to incorporate and emulsify? I’ve never had luck with witch hazel and essential oils. Unless I use a polysorbate 20.
Our witch hazel has 14% organic alcohol in it, which helps to solubilize the fragrances! Lighter, thinner oils can incorporate on their own without any further solubilizer, but not all. For any that are giving you problems, we recommend starting with a 2:1 ratio of polysorbate 20 OR our natural biosolv solubilizer to fragrance. If the mixture is still cloudy or the oil is beading at the top, increase the ratio of your solubolizer until you get the desired results. Thick, resinous or spicy fragrances can be the toughest to work with!
@@makesyofficial this is another reason why I love this company. They go above and beyond, have the best customer service on the planet, great prices and beautiful products. I have ordered seven or eight times and I will continue to order indefinitely.
So I’ve been using distilled water and polysorbate and preservative to make my fragrance sprays and of course the FO i bought the witch hazel from makesy so now I can just use the witch hazel instead of the distilled water and poly and preserve. Just trying to clarify from the video I only seen you use witch hazel and FO @makesy

I have a question because you have the oil in an oil melter. Was the oil really hot?And was this considered cold process or hot?
Great question! This is cold process method. We have the oils in the melter heated to just above room temperature. This is not necessary if you are in a warmer climate, but they should be between 80-90 degrees. Cold process typically involves heating up oils and butters you may be using. The difference is that with hot process, you will actually "cook" the soap in a melter or crockpot for an extended period of time, which helps accelerate saponification!
I will definitely be adding the subscription model. Thanks
Keep us updated on how it goes!
New to candle making - using 100% soy wax - have wavy lines across the surface of my candles and hairline/very small crack next to wick. Is this due to pouring at too high a temperature? Should I have heated the jars first?
That's a common characteristic of 100% soy wax! If you run a heat gun over the top of the candle it should fix the cracks and waviness!
@@makesyofficial thanks!
