Aging Naturally with Jodylynn
Hello and welcome to my channel!
My name is Jodylynn and I am 51 years old. I have decided to allow nature to take its course without Botox, fillers, or plastic surgery (no judgment if you do, it is just a choice that I have made for myself). I feel I have turn back the hands of time with a good skincare routine, SPF daily AND the help of beauty devices. I review beauty devices and provide you with the knowledge you need to start your better aging routine! I hope that you will join me on this journey. I am not an esthetician or make-up artist; I just love learning and sharing my knowledge. I created this channel in hopes of building a community of women over 40 where we can inspire each other to be the best version of ourselves through this next phase of our lives.

Another great video Jodyynn! I love the Dermelect neck cream and another I've found really effective is Prai. I"m very interested in the chemical peel...perhaps we can do a video about it together? I'm chicken!
Hi a jodilynn. I purchased Platnuim TCA Peel 13. That’s what they recommended for me to start out with. I am so unsure of doing my face, so I did my décolleté this eve. I have hyperpigmentation from sun damage and have been using hydroquinone, Alpha Arbutin, Transexamic Acid, as well as hydroquinone. Also have been using Tret 0.05%, and every other pm Medic8 10 Crystalized Retinaldhyde and many other active serums etc. i want so much to do my face and neck ( a lot of dark spots on my face also), but unsure as what to use post peel. Great video and I thank you for sharing. Your skin is amazingly beautiful
Thank you so much! You said you did the TCA 13%? Correct? how many layers? When did you do the peel?
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynnthey recommended TCA13. I used it on my chest 6-30-24 at 7:00pm. I followed with medic8 retinaldahyde 10; then their EMU Oil.
What radio frequency do you use on your neck?
Nebulyft and the Lumo are great options for the sides of the neck.
I started getting serious about my skincare routine just a few months ago at 53. Sure, I used moisturizer and retinol since my early forties. I use a knock off microcurrent from Amazon and hoping for the best. But, got a little bummed when you said it doesn’t help with sagging.
It really depends on how much sagging skin we are talking about. It'll do some lifting just not as good as RF.
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn Thanks for responding. Well, actually not bad. I am losing weight and I am hoping to prevent any sagging from my weight loss.
Love the topic of neck rejuvenation. 😊
Thank you Cindy! It is so nice to see you! I need to catch up on my KZread watching from trip! Thank you for being here!

M8 is an absolute garbage even dr pen admitted that this model is faulty and has had many complains.
Interesting, I've had no problems. Mine must have been a good one.
iReally interested in chemical peels but not sure where to start. I think you mentioned an upcoming video but not sure I can wait till then🙂 Any tips/advice?
Start here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIdmxsFqfZazkco.htmlsi=gVA_4N7gzGDDmEnO This is the BEST video!
Thank you x
Jodylynn, Hi there! What is the best device to lift double eyelids?
At the moment, I'd have to say the Venus by Evenskyn and Chemical Peels TCA 7%. This is the best video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kXaZrtOAntPSl7Q.htmlsi=OA1AcVIkEjVC4roQ I'm sure what results you'd get, but I am sure it will definitely help.
Jodylynn, Awesome content loved every second. Question for you, what is the best microcurrent device/devices that you use for your neck?
I love the QT+ and the Ziip, either is great. Actually the Myolift Mini is really the best as it is a more professional machine. However, it is time consuming. Either of those 3 are brillliant!
Interesting that you didn't really like the device but gave a discount code.
Where did I say I didn't like this device? I LOVE this device! More videos to come on this device!
The DRMTLGY Peptide Night Cream is not a neck cream though you can use on the neck but they do have a neck cream. I wonder what's the difference between them. I think that I also received an email that Oralift as a new updated device.
Hello! The Oralift device has not been updated but there are 3 plans that you can purchase and they have to do with support from the company. Great question on the differences between the neck cream and peptide cream. I need to look at that!
Good morning. I want to get into RF and am trying to decide between the amiro r3 and the Lumo. I have a nira laser , a nuface, and an LED mask. I am very torn between these 2. If you had to choose between them, who would win?
I love the R3 because of you can do the under eye area but you can't do the nek with this device. The Lumo, you can do the neck but not the under eye area. They are both great devices. More advanced signs of aging, maybe the Lumo. My biggest fear with the Lumo is that the company got bought out, so I'm not sure of the future of those devices. Just a thought.
So informative! Thank you. I really love Dr. Idriss Major Fade Active Seal moisturizer-it has THD, brighteners and peptides. I switched from using l-ascorbic acid products and have found it to be more effective and less irritating at preventing hyperpigmentation plus it is a beautiful formula and relatively affordable. My favorite skincare find of the last couple of years.
Hi Martha! I need to write that moisturizer down! I'm a big fan of THD! Thank you for sharing!
Your results are all natural and non surgical, so I trust your recommendations very much. I’m not sure if you realize Christine Byer has had a neck lift, so any advice she offers on microcurrent is no longer valid.
Thank you so much! 🙏 It means a.lot. Yes, .I know Christine Byers had a neck lift. I love her tutorials on fascia release which is why I recommended her for that reason. Thank you for being here!!❤️🙏
Several of the influencers on KZread have had plastic surgery.
Hi Jodylynn. I have the Oralift. Are you able to use it for 60 minutes in the am and 60 minutes in the pm? Are you solely using the 5 mm device? When I look at your video on the Oralift I can’t believe the difference!
I use the 5mm because I've been using for a while. You can do 60 minutes morning and evening. I recommend that! I hope that helps. Thank you for watching!! 🙏❤️
Every time I see your transformation I’m in awe….
Thank you!
Great video. Can you please tell me, because I’ve been using Makeup Artist’s Choice peels, how are these two brands different? (Platinum) As for my neck, I struggle with over the counter retinol, and I can’t use daily, more of once a month depending on the season. Have your tried Reveral brand for your neck? It isn’t available in Canada, but lots of great reviews.
Hello my friend! I just saw your other message about you living in Canada when I was visiting the Falls. Where abouts do you live? We had a such a great time! The Makup Artists Choice Peels are different in that they don't have a TCA 7 percent which can be great for sensitive skin, the under eyes and a sensitive neck. What product have you been using from them? Have you tried a retinol alternative? I have not tried the Reveral brand. I need to write that down!
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn I live in Toronto, so Niagara Falls is more beautiful to visit! I made a mistake when typing to you, the name brand for the neck, sold in USA is called Revision nectifirm. For many years, it would get good reviews. Thank you for pointing out that Platinum provide more gentle peel. With Makeup Artist’s Choice, I have used lactic acid, glycolic, and the lowest dosage of tca. I haven’t done peels in awhile, and eventually I will try the peels again, also, I decided not to make anymore purchases of at home devices this year. All your videos are tempting to want to buy another, but I agree with the consistency is the key. I’m very grateful you started your channel and to show it is never too late to start taking care of your skin.
Can we use Newa RF device on our foreheads?
Hello, no I wouldn't use the NEWA RF on the forehead as the forehead tends to be quite thinner than the rest of the skin. The Nebulyft you can use on the forehead. But honestly, RF for the forehead isn't my favorite, chemical peels, to me, seem to be much better. I hope that helps!
I absolutely love the beauty of joseon retinal eye cream for my face and chest. I also like the allies of skin retinal peptides repair night cream. I use the strivectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream and really like it.
These are a great options! I need to try the Strivectin TL Neck Cream. Thank you for sharing. 🙏❤️
I bought my ZIIP halo from current body and it stopped working in 2 months. I have emailed them and waiting for their reply. Very disappointed for this price it is very poor quality.
OMG! That is horrible. So sorry to hear about that. Mine is still going strong and I use it a lot. I hope they help you with that. 🙏❤️
How does this compare to the evenskyn lumo please! New to devices and main concerns are my jowls starting to appear
The Lumo is much different in technology. Lumo is a Radio Frequency device and it will help with sagging jowls. The Medicube Pro does not have that technology in this device which is my biggest complaint about this device.
Thank you, Jodylynn, for your informative videos! I'm 53 and new to watching all of these videos and just finished a 6-treatment plan for my turkey neck. Not sure if it did much, other than deplete my checking account! LOL Anyway, I would love to try to improve my face and neck, so thanks to your review, and your discount, I bought it today! There was an awesome sale, so I got the Pro in a package with some product and with the sale, I decided to buy the Ussera also! Yep, decided to go all in!! Would have bought the EMS device too, had it not been sold out!! YIKES!! I really hope to see improvement with my skin overall and definitely with my neck. We shall see... I look forward to seeing more of your videos! :)
Hello! These are great devices! Have you seen my newest video about the neck that just got release today? kzread.info/dash/bejne/goZ819Nqd7fFaaw.html Make sure to take before and afters! I hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any questions.
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn Just finished watching this newest video. Great info! Thank you!
@@AmyWise-b5u great!
What if I just drink green Rooibos tea? 🍵
It is not the same as how this is formulated for the skin. Much different.
Does at home HIFU cause facial fat loss?
No, unless you are over using. At-home RF and Ultra Sound devices are not strong enough to melt fat in the face. I hope that helps! Use as directed!
I have the Medicube EMS device and the Ussera. Is there a benefit to also getting a RF device or is the Userra doing the same thing as the RF?
That is such a great question. Unfortunately, I haven't used the USSERA long enough to be able to tell you. It is on my list to give it a solid 30 day trial. I know Brazilian Girl did a great 30 day before and afters using this device and I thought her results were very impressive. Check that out here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h3t7lppmeb2pktI.html It is supposed to do the same thing as RF just a different technology. @braziliangirlchannel
Thank you for replying. I look forward to your videos.
So at home RF is safe for the face and won’t harm facial fat? I have the evynskyn lumo What about HIFU though? Thank you! 🙏🏼
That is correct and same for the At-home HIFU! Thank you!
Update video with before and after pics?
Oh my goodness! I wonder where in Canada you were at. It would be sad to have missed you if you were in my city.
Can I use any serum? Any serum or gel recommendations that is affordable?
Medicube AgeR Gel is my favorite to use for all RF and Microcurrent devices and is affordable. I use a spray water (Avene Thermal water) to spray if it gets dry, not need to reapply making it last longer! Gel: amzn.to/4cth7DC Water: amzn.to/4cqfu9I *affiliate links I hope this helps!
Is it me or does the airshot device feel exactly like the high frequency acne devices that you can buy for 20 bucks on amazon?
I have News. Is this better ?
The NEWA is better for tightening for advanced signs of aging. I hope that helps.
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn thanks. Autocorrect messed with my post. I have mild jowls and my cheeks need volume. NEWA has already done a good job, but I wanted a faster result. I have ZIIP as well. Not giving in to aging yet at 77, but no one believes it but me.
@@MarylandMermaid Unfortunately with at-home devices, you need to be patient. It takes much longer for results than if you were to go in office. For me, I saw sublte results with RF 60 days better after 90 days and major results after 6 months. I'd say an EMS device to help the cheek area. It will strengthen the cheek muscles which over time can appear to be more full, in the upper cheek area. Not major, but definitely slightly. Does that make sense?
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn Yes, absolutely. I’m only 4 weeks into NEWA and I do see some results on the marionette lines. I was using too often, so I will cut back a bit as well.
Keep at it! Take before and afters.
You should close your mouth. Tongue posture
Hello thank you I made sure I put your promo codes in so you could get a commission. It is on sale on top of your discount code for the. Nebulyft R2! Do you recommend anything else besides the gel that they sell? Thank you for all your information.❤ hope you’re enjoying your vacation
Jodylynn how would you compare this device with the medicube age R pro? Which one is better? In other words, which one will give more dramatic results? I'm 57 and I bought the medicube device a few months ago. Used it consistently for a period of ten weeks but saw no change whatsoever and got discouraged. Is this device better?
This device is Radio Frequency which is very different from the Medicube Pro. The Pro doesn't have RF. Radio Frequency is what you want for sagging skin. This device will help to tighten the sagging skin. Better than the Medicube. I hope that helps.
Nice video!! What is the best radio frequency you both recommend? Doesn’t matter how much it costs.
I just did a video about that! Hello! These are my favorites. Pick the one that you can be consistent with. kzread.info/dash/bejne/a5N50cawcZurlpM.html
Did you try Amiro Ultralift?
I'm testing it now!
Can't wait to see result😊
Like the nuface?
No different! I like it better than Nuface because of the two modes, Education to lift the skin and Erase to lengthen the skin to minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
Hey there what are yout thoughts on using led masks and melasma? I have worked really hard to contain my melasma and would not want to aggravate it thanks
I've heard good things about it. I can't guarantee anything and I do think it is important to check with your dermatologist. I would steer clear of Near Infrared and just focus on Red light.
Dear Judy I got the medicube booster pro based on you recommendations. It has microcurrent, do you think it is enough or should I get a separate one like the Ziip?
It's fine! No need to get any other microcurrent!
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn thank you my dear 😘
Hi great help ,I have melasma really bad please which light face mask is the best for me in a Indian lady
Hello, I'm not an expert on melasma. I hear RLT can do good things but it really depends. I'd ask your dermatologiest first. Andi f you decide to go with a mask, I wouldn't use Near Infrared as there can be a bit of heat that could be irritating. I'd stick to Red Light. The Aduro may be best as there are lights that may help with melasma.
Not a expert,I hear good things but depends ask dermatologist
I have a Tripoller Vx. It does RF and EMS. Doing both really defuffs my eye area. Even when I only have time for the EMS. A lot of time I do it few quick passes in the morning. I don't use it on my eye area but when I use it on my cheeks and jawline, my eyes always look so much better. Makes me feel more like my old(younger haha) self
Love hearing this, thank you!
So excited to see how this works on me❤ Thabk you!
Thank you so much for having me - it was a blast! I guess it's my turn to visit....Las Vegas, here I come! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and can't wait for your packing video 🤣
Yes! Next is Vegas! ☺️🙏❤️
Hello, thanks for all your help. When you use the eye mode with the R3, is the ems still on, bc I'm worried that ems could make under eyes worse?
The EMS is still on but not as intense. It does not make my under eyes worse. I use a lower level, like level 1.
Enjoyed every minute!
Thank you!
The disatvantage of a panel is that it is not curved and doesn't reach the sides of one's face as good as a mask does.
Interesting to note. Thank you.
4:00 the so called " green tee study" was on ONE person ( the seller of the serum) and very anecdotal!
