  I actually own one of those units to HELP with my chronic pain. Not sure exactly the science behind it, but it’s used for my muscle & nerve pain, as well as just relaxation for the muscles.

  I did this once my pain was above ten,ten sort of felt like it but not really at all I have Dysmenorrhea it’s basically a official diagnosis for moderate to severe pain during your period ,to get diagnosed I had to do some pelvic exams and an ultra sound basically at the start of my period I have to take like 600mg of ibuprofen and it still hurts so yay for me :3

  These are essentially a TENS unit and because they are primarily used for therapy they cycle meaning the muscles get really tight and relax within a few seconds and this repeats. With period cramps the muscle cramps and stays that way for hours.

  This also doesn’t take into account the fact that some times it changes so it’s longer than a week and the pain is worse than you can get with the simulator.
