I currently have the same phone (same color - 8/256 version). Was a bit overwhelmed at first by the amount of permissions/data being requested by all app (system apps or otherwise). This is my first Xiaomi/Poco phone - but I soon realized that the OS at least gives us the flexibility to tweak ALL permission settings in the apps. Rather than keeping them in the background. Once I got over that privacy concern/issue, the phone is otherwise great. This was my upgrade to my old reliable phone the LG V20 with Zerolemon 10kmah battery. The X4 GT is proving to be a worthy successor to my beloved LG. My only wish was that this came with APTx support - not sure if that is a snapdragon thing hence its absence in this phone. But the dolby effects i think makes up for the lack of aptx.

Background app management in MIUI is even better than OneUI. It's one of the good things of MIUI despite its bugs.
