    Is it a stock predator 212 with the stock gas tank? Im about to do this myself and want to be sure the stock gas tank fits

    It sure is a stock predator with stock gas tank. You are going to need a riser plate though. You may need to get some extra hardware from the hardware store because the stock riser plates are built well with cheap fasteners. You will want to use lock nuts and longer bolts.

    You did a great production as far as the quality & closeups, is that your personal mower of a family members? I worked at the Snapper factory from 1972 till it was closed in Georgia, do you mind if I go through this clip minute by minute and give further correction & details??? I find that the Snapper rear engine rider has developed many myths by folks that really don't know about them.

    Just think, if you would have chose a different engine than those Predator 212's you could have used the headlight parts from the original 196 engine. The 224 would have been a better choice and the headlight parts from the 196 fit.

  • @Deucealive75
    @Deucealive756 ай бұрын

    @@NubsWithGuns Not confused at all. The coils will bolt on to any small block. But the 196 flywheel to make them work will not fit his engine. The 196 flywheel will fit ANY other small block but not the two Predator 212's. I would never buy any of those two turds when there are so many better engine options. I would get a generic 208 before getting a Predator 212. Some guys have used a clone flywheel on the non hemi Predator 212, but it's not a correct fit. I just feel bad for some of the guys wanting to upgrade to a different engine. Like a guy who bought a $100 flywheel for his Predator hemi and can't use it on any other engine. Or a guy with a $100 cam in his non hemi Predator who can't use it in any other engine. The 224 was just an example. All of my expensive 196 parts, flywheel, cam, and rod fit in a 224, with clearancing for the 58mm stroke crankshaft.

    Since when does Powersmart have LCT engines on them? They’ve really been all over with the engines on their machines. At first they were using their own branded engine which was just a rebranded Loncin, then they started putting Briggs and Strattons on them, and now they seem to have made a deal with LCT.

    Did you move the throttle stop on the carb to get wide open throttle? Did you zip tie the governor arm to keep it from holding back the throttle?? If you still have the governor still intact then it will never go faster than the stick motor

    When I was in 4 th grade I had a mini cycle. The engine blew up. So my dad put a 25 Hp snowmobile engine in it. It had a snowmobile clutch with the mini cycle torque converter. Let me tell you it was fast. 0-80 now. If I had a bigger torque converter it would have easily went over 100. Not kidding. The bigger they are the quicker and faster they go. In a snowmobile the engine would go 60 mph. But the mini cycle didn’t weigh anything. My clutch was 3Xs bigger than the one on yours.
