    Many people actually get high on those emotions. Some people do like feeling anger. But there is a right and wrong. And it’s wrong to be controlled by your negative emotions. It’s over into other people in the world and hurt both the person feeling those emotions and the people around them.😢

    As a real adjuster who actually lives this….The real lie is that roofers think they are general contractors. This has been settled in court and by xactimate themselves over and over and over. I could give you case law on thousands of cases in this matter. Not that truth helps for these type of videos. GCOP is for real GCs saving customers the headache of finding 8 different tradesman while they coordinate the entire project. Electric, Sheetrock, paint, cleaning, plumbing, cabinetry, flooring for 1 job. This lady sits behind a desk bugging adjusters all day about made up line items talking about how she needs OP because she made 1 phone call to a gutter company. Their game of maximizing insurance profits through fraudulent line items is such a larger problem than “the insurance company didn’t overpay me by 6000” for doing work I didn’t do. They already make 500-600 per SQ on roof which is higher than they charge any retail client without insurance. There are 1000s of KZread videos teaching people how to scam better like this one. Don’t believe it. Do better

    what do you say when the insurance company won't pay certain items because they're not "code" like the ice & water shield? and if you keep pushing they ask you to provide in writing valid proof from your local code and regulations office that it is code?

    I needed that at this exact moment. I just got out of a meeting with one of my property management companies and my contact told me they used another roofing company to install a new roof on one of their buildings, needless to say I was a little disappointed. Thanks for posting this.

    The insurance company owes what they owe per the contract, they aren't all the same and we aren't here to interpret the policy. Just my three cents.

  • @travisedwards9983
    @travisedwards99832 ай бұрын

    Its not to interpret the policy , contractor can speak on anything that is or should be covered without speaking on policy. If you have your PA license as well then you absolutely can

    Generally speaking, contractors are not in a position to be negotiating with adjusters. In fact, it is forbidden.

    Great line…. I’ll definitely try it. Btw, do you think the biggest objection to signing the contingency is poor presentation and lack of information given to the HO? I’m asking you, because the steps for the company I just started with are in this order: 1- Get the HO to agree to a FREE inspection. 2- Sign the contingency ( without it no inspection) 3- ONLY AFTER THAT the in-house licensed inspector gets dispatched through Job Nimbus Should I break the process down to them, even if I’m not sure that their roof has any damage YET or focus on the inspection and push the contingency as a closing tool? I appreciate your input:)

  • @roofsalesmastery
    @roofsalesmastery4 ай бұрын

    No sense in progressing or investing more time/energy if you haven't a) confirmed there's viable damage and b) have made an agreement about what you would get in exchange for your legwork if the roof gets approved (which is the contract and the work)!

    As an independent licensed adjuster and independent supplementer for roofing and construction companies, my supplements rarely fall below $7,000, and probably 40% of them are double the original insurance company estimates. You have to know and understand the mindset of the staff adjuster. There's a lot more to it than just having copycat rebuttals. Writing a successful supplement is an art that one has to work on developing. There is no magic bullet or once you learn every possible rebuttal, you will have successful supplements. It is a skill that involves several different aspects of psychology and knowledge and then to intelligently use that knowledge to create your masterpiece of a supplement that the adjuster just can't say "no" to.

    What about the implementation of AI. AI does know what we do not. Additionally, I have recently used AI integerated with a software I developed to be the inspector analysis of a claim. Used agfainst State Farm and AllState I successfully turned two denials into approved payout for full rteplacement based only on the AI Inspector Report.

  • @ericrhodesbusiness
    @ericrhodesbusiness6 ай бұрын

    I would never ever do this. Do not start telling the adjuster anything about the claim (pre inspection) unless they ask. Be polite, ask if they need help. (Chalk, ladder for a double pull etc) There are circumstances where this is wise Becca but in general no longer sound advice. Things have changed since you have been in the field.
