  Outside of FAMU, the HBCU bands are clown shows. Only stupidity makes you put instruments on the ground to dance. who does that other than the SWAC? These bands are not original, they all imitate the Marching 100.

  Both bands half time was just ok, ALL these HBCU bands needs to get rid of the dance routine, it's so lack luster, these new breeds of band members just don't have it, it's sloppy at times and some are just to stiff, doing drills are just fine. It saddens me that NONE of these HBCU bands have evolved, it's like they're stagnant with the same ol rinse and repeat routine year after year however, I will give Txsu motion a little credit because, they did manage to step outside the box for just a minute with the Texas A&M drill, so they tried it but, at least it was different.

  PV you should watch videos from your 2017-21 band and take notes. This was your best years. Band leadership very sloppy for band to sound like this. Drum line watch 2017-21 drum line and take notes. FAMU you just loud not how you used to be as well and boring. Just lazy😢

  @@jamiedickens2075 FAMU gets no accolades when they perform in Battle of the Bands. FAMU is only popular with it's fan base. The popular bands are the ones that sells the tickets at Battle of the Bands.

  As a former PV storm member I was very disappointed in the energy from PV. Prof Edward’s is rolling over in his grave. I like Dr. Zach because our children graduate which is should be the main focus, but his lack of quality shows. He is living off the fame of the past.

Stop acting like FAMU got all this and that and worry about that stadium and campus renovation plan yall been promoting for years and have not done crap! You wish your campus looked like PVAMU.

  Trumpets tryna do a lil somethin but btones, trombones, n french horns playin like they scared to open up. Do they sound bad? No. But that definitely don't sound like the amount of brass that I've seen this year. Counted 20 btones earlier this year. Not sure if it's still that but they could use more intensity for sure.

  I couldn't watch the first band more than a few minutes w/o feeling seasick. I wonder why they move that way? So many schools call themselves a "marching band" yet don't march. I've never seen a band w/sheet music on the field either. Weird! If you don't know the song, you sit out. SHOCKINGLY! I thought FAMU was dreadful. This must have been an off performance. They, too, do that non-marching thing where people float around. They were so messy everywhere - sounds, order, formations, some didn't even know the dance. Very disorganized. ??? I should probably stick to FAMU 100 that doesn't try to be everything to everyone on the planet. There's a reason why Southern University's The Human Jukebox is so successful; it's extremely well-organized, disciplined, and well-practiced (FIVE hours a day). Best sound on the planet. The fact that the Jukebox can also entertain is secondary.

  The way the first band March is extremely common and is how almost every band outside of HBCUs March. It looks clean and effortless. Its also how DCI (Professional marching band) performs. So educate yourself.

  I always like coming back to this video. I went to USF and I was sitting in the student section of this game. I remember all the black students made it their mission to come out to cheer on FAMU's band. It was a great feeling. Plus my cousin being in the band was an added bonus. I will always be a fan of FAMU Marching 100 ❤

  I have worked in halftime performances for over 25 years... most recently the 2020 Super Bowl. I can say that it is always a charm to see white people enjoying HBCU bands
