    @@tomindia9420 I use it now at 6kw on peak, and 3-4kw continuously …. I run like that on speed until I get bored, or the battery drains to 50%, and the highest temperature I have seen was 65 degrees 😁 I don’t run it at max for longer , as I am not that kind of rider, I like to enjoy and relax ( short bursts )… When I had it on 52v, the battery was set at 50 amps , as I use it now with the 72v setup…. On 52v the motor gets a bit hotter I guess, but not a problem as long as there is a temp sensor to tell the truth 👍🏻 I have also a steel gear to replace it with the nylon one, in order to make it as an Ultra ( but too much noise, as now it’s enough turbo sound ), but last week when I opened up the motor ….I found out that everything was like new , and the grease was looking fresh 👌

    @@alex.copilu ye, i seen people add grease to the motor to reduce noise, i have a enduro style bike, with hidden battery, 52v 17.5ah with 30A bms, its enough for me, i also prefer only doing bursts, or following traffic for a minute or two at higher speeds, well over the 250w limit lol, so good thing about mid motors they look like bicycles, and the motors are more compact in the middle, less visible and doesnt look as powerful,just need to be sensible and slow down in more busy public places, but in your case you have a 1000w mid motor, with 4-5k watts, nobody will expect it to have that much, even for me 1500w off the line on like 32T or so it takes off and does a smalll wheelie , so its already unsafe for unskilled, or no experiece people, when you pull the throttle and the jerking can throw them off the bike... on the corners at lower speeds, but the ride is very smooth, the motor power and torque sensor, makes pedaling feel very natural, for you with 5k watts maybe pedaling is less fun, for me I can pedal until about 55km speed, and then let the motor push the speed up to 60km

    @@tomindia9420 yeah, I have put some thousands km ago mobil shc, and mobil 100 grease as far as I remember, but everything it’s still new inside , thus was not the need for a fully opening up… I had the controller broken for one week, and I used the stock controller on 33A, and things were very nice I can say ( my setup is for 52v : 42t front 36-18t rear, and 72v : 42t front 42t rear )….thus I understand the feeling you are speaking about 👍🏻 This is another thing…a proper animal which lifts up at 40km/h if throttled hard compared with a stock 52v setup…..🫣🫡 It’s 6k now 😅😅 and on pedals I set it up to go up to 3000+w at peak powers , and it’s fine…. @@alex.copilu i have 42 - 11 on the rear, so i can still add power by pedaling until im over 50km speed, which saves some battery especially on low power modes, one time i did over 25 miles range on 500 -1000 watt power modes, and was still half a battery, so its posible to get close to 50 miles range, with a 17.5ah battery, if you do some pedaling, range is not important for me, but when you need it, it's handy to have the motor and pedaling RPM matching for optimal efficiency

    Wouldn’t be a problem to get the 75200 pro v2.0, but for that I need also another battery which is quite pricey for the budget for the moment…. It’s a 50bms battery….and without heating up too much, would be around 70-80bms, and 8000w with 5000w continuous…. This is what I think… I might get one day that battery, but…still happy with what I can squeeze from this setup 🫶 If I shift one gear, 36T, it goes around 80km/h , and it’s enough…🫣😅 As you see in the video when I start I went hard, and at the end of that little run, I stopped throttling it, as it had 72km/h and it was ….enough 😅 The bike lifts up from 40km/h when I throttle it hard, and has around 25-27kg🫣 Yup, IQ Target, and many other settings ON 👍🏻

How much of a difference did mtpa make, my tune is great other than mtpa causing power surges / bucking even at low throttle so I don't run it :( . How did you get the correct wheel speed on your bike?

  • @alex.copilu
    @alex.copilu2 ай бұрын

    You have to play with a gps speed app, and twisting the gear ratio, and the wheel diameter until the gps speed app and the Vesc app match together👍🏻

  • @EBIKESBR
    @EBIKESBR2 ай бұрын

    @@alex.copilu My bike has a mid drive motor, and has gears, so each gear will correspond to a certain speed, that's the problem... that's why I need to get the speed directly from the wheel using an external sensor connected to the wheel, but I don't know where to change it the vesc toll to read an external sensor, and not read the engine hall sensor

  • @alex.copilu
    @alex.copilu2 ай бұрын

    @@EBIKESBR unfortunately you won’t be able to add one , as it would happen to the stock or other controllers…. Yeah…changing gears using vesc, won’t keep the same accuracy… I use FW, and because of that I use only one gear, as it would be an automatic car 😅👍🏻 The best you can do is to get a gps TFT screen compatible with Vesc( there is a bulky one ) and with it you will have what you want ( but the display does the same, won’t keep accuracy when changing gears )👍🏻

With the long base full suspension frame and with the 5.5 KW power….I just like and feel the bike much much better when the saddle is lowered at the minimum ( as it is in the motors-cross/ motorcycles )👍🏻 Far better control when I speed up, and no back pain as it’s a full suspension and the position it’s different than you have on a normal bike 👌 Idnk…maybe people have non electric bikes or low powered e-bikes, and they can not realise, or understand what setup I presented here 😁
