    On my 5th year with mine. Pulling out brush, grading, prepping for seeding, it's been a great tool for my purposes.

    If you have multi flora roses. This is the tool for you. Plunge into them drop the bucket to the ground and back up. Takes it out roots and all. So simple. Considering the small investment you can't go wrong. Great for stone driveways also.

    Use the heck out of mine. Made a slight mod in order to push brush into a burn pile without melting the straps. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iIt1pNSmgrOsXaQ.html

    Just ordered mine. I have 3 acres and about 1.5 of it needs some serious brush removal.

    Ive owned one for 4 years and absolutely the best implement that you can buy, used to clear overgrown 5th rows at hunting club. Knockdown small trees and work back and forth to pull roots and all out of ground. If even thinking about it, pull the trigger and do it.

    I notice you don't have ballast mounted in the rear. Are the tires loaded?

  • @ratchetrakellc
    @ratchetrakellc4 жыл бұрын

    No the tires are not loaded but that machine is relatively heavy for a 22 hp tractor. It has an operating weight with the bucket of over 2500 lbs. When plowing snow, I keep the rear axle locked up which also helps for traction.

    @@ratchetrakellc the reason I'm asking, I have Massey Ferguson gc1710, intending to remove the backhoe for plowing with the snow edge (I just bought one), am wondering if I could get by without mounting a ballast box and/or loading the tires. Your video gives me the impression I could do without either and be ok.

    @@pondacres For pushing snow on a level surface or down hill your machine will be fine without any extra weight.

    Two thumbs up. Received mine yesterday and was in the back 40 for a few hours making all kinds of progress taking out scrub brush and small trees. Money well spent!

    A Bobcat tractor without a quick attach seems a little ironic

    I would have put the strap rackets on the back side of the bucket so they would stay clean

  • @DerekKerton
    @DerekKerton6 жыл бұрын

    That would get more abrasion. That's the reason the steel wire loops exist at all is to run along the outside of the bucket and take more abuse.

    I own one and it has been a fantastic tool. You can break up compacted dirt mounds and works wonders as a rake to clean things up when you are done
