elementaryOS user-minimalism isn't an aesthetic choice, it's a *survival mechanism,* because the only thing saving me from having a hundred desktop shortcuts and a downloads folder in the TBs is that Pantheon _has_ no Desktop folder, and it automatically empties my downloads every 30 days. I used to use OSX but ditched it when it became "macOS" and the UX became cluttered and confusing. Oh yeah, and we live by terms like "UX."

That's how I learned programming by myself, starting when I was 14 (18 now). I justed some free course on internet (very good one, javarush I really recomment this), but once I learned the minimal basics I started doing random projects and apps for fun.

As odd as this sounds, I’ve found that drawing or writing it out on a piece of paper helped me tremendously since I was able to physically see it. Embedded firmware is tough and always felt like I couldn’t get started if I just stared at a display and tried to think of the solution. To each is own I guess

The funny thing I was or were most of these guys, I was even thinking about getting these Jetbrains shoes for a moment, but I guess I might reconsider... I was / am recovering Emacs user, although enabling Vim mode and adding keybindings lead me back to... well, I might just use Doom Emacs again. Oh, I also have created a Neovim distribution at some point.
