  Currently in one of the Technical Universities in Germany, the 1st semester was extremely hard, most students failed, not enough preparing materials, no past questions, one of the subjects have passing points of 50. Lectures are good, tutorials are also good but exams are really beyond those. Currently at my lowest of point. Never felt like this. Even considering going to applied science University, its not that I cannot complete the course but its the extreme pressure and time you have to give. But upon looking into 2nd and 3rd semesters, the subjects arent that hard, mostly projects and simulations. But the credits that each subjects hold are low, so there will be 4-5 electives in one semester along witht the compulsory modules. I'm an international student. Its hard to keep up with so many subjects , exams and part time job to sustain yourself. With all these happening, you just cant complete your 2 years degree in 2 years. So, i might be switching soon or maybe not.
