I am not sure on civil war/reproduction fabrics as I have not taken that plunge yet, though I do love the fabrics😉 I don't think it would be as it has very modern designs such as the squirrels ECT, but I could be wrong😔 Please do let us know what you find out on this🌹

Don’t think these are considered Civil War fabrics-they usually are small prints in specific colors. These fabrics are gorgeous though…

@veraweeks8534 I have a very small house and am disabled as well so I bought a felt back plastic tablecloth at Walmart. I tac it up on a wall so the felt side is facing out and use it as a design wall. I can take it down and it packs away really easily. Maybe you could do this♡

I liked your idea but I changed it up a bit. I sewed 2 lights and 2 darks on the same block so I ended up with 2 stacks mixed. In the rows I turned each block 1 turn so I had no seams to match. Thanks for the idea.

Pretty quilt, like the simplicity of the pattern. I can never get my batting to match when I piece it. One side always comes out longer even when they originally match. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you🌹 Are you using poly batting or the cotton? Make sure you are squaring up your quilt top before sandwiching with batting and backing. I find the cotton poly batting to work best for me, as it does not stretch as badly with the scrim in it.
