Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good kzread.infoUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.

I pretty much copied this design for my rocket furnace. I used 4" square tubing on mine and it works very well. The hardest part was designing the burner so it would burn consistantly without clogging. I ended up with 4 different burner designs and they all produce different temperatures. I used the design used by the "Riley" pellet fired camp stoves as the bases for my designs and they all work pretty well. I have very little ash and no smoke to speak of. My chimney stays clean throughout the burn season.

Sam very impressed with your skill level. Being a retired tool & die maker I ran across your video & looking around on making a WOH also. My Question is how many square feet do You think the heater will heat. I have a small shop next to my house. 30x50, would it heat it. I love in Okla with winters very rarely get in the teens, but do from time to time. Your thoughts?

Congrats on the heavy material fabrication but not there yet for my liking... burns to rich and dirty... I'll check back hoping to see much cleaner natural combustion from a better fuel to air mixture at elevated operating temperature... remember the stove pipe flue length for proper drafting.

My homemade stove is almost identicle to that one, except my pellet hopper is directly above the burn chamber. And my burn tube goes from 4" square tubing to a section of 4" X 6" so it drops down 2" for the ashes to collect but still have room for the flames to go thru. I also enclosed mine with a jacket of thin sheet metal which is 2" from the sides, and used a furnace blower to blow the heat up stairs to my main level. It's now a pellet furnace to heat my home.

Welding cast iron is risky as it is a low carbon alloy and doesn't hold well when welded. It gets brittle. You should go to a plumbing supply and get steel elbows.

I tried to take the measurements in your part 1 video, but I had some shortcomings. Please, do you have a pdf extension project, can you share with me. What should be the thickness of the box profile, thank you.

You should be careful that the top gasses one does not get sucked into the air intake to the house , you should fit a carbon monoxide detector just inside the house intake .make the smoke stack a lot higher . Any wind down draft would cause you feeding poisoned gas to you home , which is fatal. Look at this version . kzread.info/dash/bejne/a6F8sK6Qd828gs4.html
