I've been a road cyclist for almost a decade now. I know a lot about racing and follow professional races every year. However, I still come back to this video once in a while, I really don't know why. I simply find it relaxing and it reminds me of the beauty of beginning to follow a sport as life changing as cycling. To those who are watching this video for the first time and are entering the world of cycling, good luck in your journey!

I think that historians should examine more this incident that led to Rommel's hesitation to proceed to crush Dunkirk all because of a tank regiment that apparently displayed skill that alarmed him to relent.

I like riding but, the competitive side has never been about individual as it is about the team. That's not my issue however, my issue is, why do we have individual winners when the race is definitely not about individual effort? I'll wait till someone explain that to me like I'm a 5th grader. It's like saying one player is the winner of the NBA finals when obviously an entire team got the job done.

Jonas may have a bone to pick with your analysis as you claim that the polka dot jersey represents the best climber… a significant fact left out is that the jerseys are won by point totals intermittently won throughout the race and many times do not represent the “best” climbers or sprinters…

Superb explanation sir. This time there was no live telecast here. I had to follow the race on my mobile. This race tests the player's strength both mental and physical. It also gives you a chance to look into the landscapes of France. Definitely, one of my favourite races.
