    The former Suncoast Dome became the PepsiCo, Inc., Tropicana Products, Inc. Division Field. Also. In 1986, Capital Cities Communications, Inc. purchased ABC, becoming Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. Then, in 1995, The Walt Disney Company purchased Capital Cities/ABC., Inc. 😀👌

    The level of respect Tommy Kleinschmidt commanded was unreal. Went to a couple of the same camps back in HS and no one... I mean NO ONE F'ed with this dude. He had like a Tyson awrah about him. If the UFC was what it is now back in the 90's... Tommy 'Iron Fist" Kleinschmidt would have been a world champion.

    I remember watching this at the age of 10. It was a relief to see a close game after the Michigan State Penn blowout in the other Semifinal. I was disappointed DePaul lost. I wasn't on Indiana State bandwagon.😊

  • @Rastablkmn2u
    @Rastablkmn2uАй бұрын

    DePaul has two problems; One, they don’t get the HS 4 Star and 5 Star players like Mark Aguirre, Terry Cummings, Rod Strickland, even Tom Kleinschmidt. That’s basically from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, save the early 2000s with the Quentin Richardson teams leads to point number Two, they don’t get the local kids either like they used to, Corey Maggette to Eddy Curry to Jabari Parker and even Jahlil Okafor. None of them except Okafor I believe even thought about DePaul. I hope someone adds to my thoughts for you….

  • @patrickfisher4151
    @patrickfisher4151Ай бұрын

    @@Rastablkmn2u actually what you said makes sense because of conference realignment and you can see a lot of games so the kids are stuck going to the home university

    Was this Joeys last tournament win? I remember them playing in the NIT in 1990, losing in the first round in ‘91 and ‘92. Then it was the NIT for the next 3 or 4 years, and Joey was gone after the 1997 season
