  Small detailed butterflies are one of my weaknesses in painting. I got one of the sets of brushes you recommended a couple videos ago. I'm hoping they will help me doing this well.   What is the secret to putting in back ground and not leave water edge on outside?

  Hi Jean! So you use a clean brush and soften the edges that you don’t want! I always demonstrate now we soften the edge, same technique! Hope that’s helpful

Master cuánta admiracionnn siento xor usted Comencé con la técnicas Americanas cuando venían cada mes para Argentina las profesoras más hermosas y talentosas como usted Pero no hicimos acuarela vinieron por anos y viajamos para tomar sus clases quiero agradecerle por sus videos de acuarelas tan pero tan bellos hper realistas con mezcla de abstracto hermosa combinación gracias gracias por su arte la miro siempre es algún video puede mostrar bien los pinceles y el gramaje que usa de papel de acuarela que parece ser grueso y pinceles con ese pelo que no se de que animalito es de poni o Marta me gustaría saber y muestre la paleta de.   Hello, the brush I used here is called the happy dot! It’s a very reliable orientalist brush! It’s very smooth and hold its shape! Mine I had for over 20 years! With orientalist brush it always came with glue so they needed to be soaked in lukewarm water for few hours and rinse completely! They are no different than any western brush and may shed a hair or two in beginning which doesn’t bother me! If you want other videos here I talked about my brushes a lot!   Very cute painting. Often times I will come across tutorials on KZread and let them play in the background while I'm working on my own paintings. It's almost like having a friend over to get creative with me. I've been painting off and on for about 50 years and I'm STILL learning new things. You have a very calming demeanor and voice so I'm subscribing. Hummingbirds btw are one of my favorites to paint!
