  Thank you!!! I’m quite handy, but my pull cord doesn’t have any instructions, so I stared at this for like an hour trying to figure out how to re-engage it, before seeing your video saying you have to pull it down again to reopen whatever kinda latch is inside that thing 😂😂

  Instructions online and in the manual were sparse at the very most. We kept thinking all we needed to do was to yank the rope toward the door (or the other way, if you read the unhelpful Genie instructions). As soon as you moved the carriage, it was clear what our issue was and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing us how to get things re-aligned. Signed, 2 70-year-old engineers LOL.
