Have you thought of shooting a video with the girl looking out the window of a moving train?
@const71Ай бұрын
That would be cool, but I guess it would be pretty expensive to hire videographers. The couple of music videos I did do I used free stock footage and that took me a long time to do ... I enjoy the music writing process more than the time consuming video editing but who knows, I might do a video someday for this piece :)

Nice minor key opening with piano and flute. The music suits the lyrics and creates an appropriate feeling of melancholy, remorse, and despair. Good use of metaphor between the key of the car and the key of one's mind. Having the delayed repetition in the third stanza is also effective in terms of creating the sense of mental reflection. The rhythmic structure of the lyrics works well with the music. (I am not a musician, but I know classical music well from an aesthetic frame, and I would have added the opening minor chord - or something very similar to it - at the end after a full rest that had a percussive hardness that is not sustained - so harder attack and full stop. Just my sense that it should end with a finality and edge as a counterpoint to create a disquieting tension and sense of horrible finality.) The visuals work well, and the end being the same footage as the beginning gives it a mentally reflective quality. All in all, an emotionally satisfying musical journey,
