Nobody was doing a comparison. First This video was not titled IPhone vs AI Pin! Second we have iPhone 5 and up models , we work on developed projects that incorporated technology like LIDAR before Apple even thought about it. Third , the point was Humane AI pin have a lot of powerful features and convenient that IPhone doesn’t have that doesn’t mean throw away your cellphone. Lastly ,You don’t own a humane AI Pin! So you not really in a position to make a comment!

Interesting take, but remember these “Tech Reviewers” can only review what a device is when it arrives not what it will be. You are right Marquess title seemed very hyperbolic especially compared to DOA megaflops like the Surface Duo, Crypto Phone, Nexus Q, and Google Clip. I agree the Internet hate machine on this thing is a little ridiculous. People posting copy paste “This is a SCAM” or “My phone in 2014 could do all of this” comments are not constructive. They obviously can’t see the vision that Humane has and the use case for a lot of people that aren’t them. The campaign of hate on the internet can be a little much don’t let it get you down though. Remember that Humane absolutely wet the bed on launch. No reminders, timers, or calorie tracking? $600 for a gen 1 of a product? That’s a lot to ask of most people. Having to awkwardly have two phone numbers and pay another subscription? Dull/Low resolution photos and shaky video on a device released in 2024? Meta glasses look 10X better so Humane has no excuse. These are things average consumers are not willing to just try. I agree there is a double standard with Apple and Vision pro. People would buy it because Apple made it, but that’s not entirely true. Apple has earned its reputation of defining segments and changing industry. Same with Google, Microsoft etc. I hope that Humane can hold on and that some of these reviewers come back and do follow up reviews to show how far they’ve come because there is a lot of tech here and a team that really seems to care about it’s vision hopefully it’s not to late.

great review! The Ai Pin is like any tool. One must attempt to use it with skill to create things. I particularly like the notes that you can use like memory. My grandson and I craft bedtime stories together and save them into the notes which we can recall at any time. we can change details of the story in the middle of the story. I also use it for gardening. I'll store a list of all my different types of dragon fruit plants in the notes and then I can ask things like which one of my dragon fruit plants will bloom first or other questions. I also can save a feeding schedule for them and know when it's time to feed again. you can also save meeting transcriptions in notes (from other tools like Samsung voice recorder, etc...) and now be able to recall things from all your meetings in a couple of seconds. I also use it to bounce questions off it when I need some finishing information for woodworking or help solve error messages when I am at my day job as a network admin. These are just a few small things that you can do. With some imagination the Ai Pin can become a powerful tool.

If I am not a construction worker - I cannot criticize the layout of my room or the poor condition of the road? if I a not a michelin star chef - I cannot criticize my meal? Also, are you aware that those guys critique multi million/billion dollar conglomerates that can and should pay attention to even the smallest details, especially for the price that they are asking? Geez, God forbid they hurt someone at Apple for price gauging or someone at Samsung for not getting the UI right 😅. If they review something from a small player, they take that into consideration, if the price is right. If somebody bashes a small company trying to make something out of nothing in good faith, reasonably priced, but falling a bit short, then yes, this is a bit of an asshole/privilege behaviour and usually the audience picks up on that. It's in the consumer's interest to cheer for the underdog because it means more choice on the market. Competition for consumers is what moves progress forward. If we listened to you, our pinnacle in mobile technologies would still be Nokia 3310.

These Guys are end users. My point is there quote “that it’s the worst device ever” the problem is there reasoning is base on its inability to perform like a cell phone. My problem is the lack of understanding that these products intentions is not to replace a cellphone. How many times do you get cellphone failures, or your electric car battery drains despite is supposedly having a huge range. Should we label it the worse products ever as well?

I agree to some extent, however, the things That made them determine it was the “worst device ever” was base on there initial assessment, that carries a lot of weight and can seem bias. My point was before making such an announcement address the intention of the device and yes give an initial assessment! However, do follow ups especially when your main concern have been addressed.

I feel from a reviewer perspective, it's not on them to understand the build process. Their entire viewpoint is meant to be based on the consumer's side. They try out the product and relay that info to their viewers. It's subjective, but that doesn't make it wrong. You criticize viewers of those journalists for not trying out the product themselves, but that's the entire point of watching them. I'm not going to spend $500+ buying a Humane pin just to see if it's good. Not everyone has time and money to buy the products themselves. Although the Humane AI pin has received a lot of updates, it doesn't change the fact that everything the pin does a regular phone does better. Why buy a dedicated hardware and pay a more expensive subscription when I can just use chatgpt straight up? Why would blogs and tech reviews do an update video when no significant changes has been made? The consumer don't care about business processes like six-sigma or competitive. They care if a product is going to add any significant value to their lives. I understand what your point is, but it feels misdirected.

Great video. That’s mostly Influencers acting a fool, they are not regular shoppers. Most are desperate and doing all kinds of things for that click or sponsor. I’m noticing all kinds of strange things coming from the internet lifestyle and tech reviewers. Social media personalities accounted for most of the returns according to a few news sources. Most people don’t watch them and hear about them from the news or a friend’s post. I’m glad to see so many people going for demos and seeing for themselves AVP strengths and weaknesses.

For something that cost 4k after taxes they will be updated faster then MacBooks and iPhone cause of technology moving so fast. It’s like burning cash especially when the m4 chip is coming out so this product isn’t future proof as a first generation product

Yea you are right the projection glasses scare the crap out of me since the projection goes straight in the eye using focused light. The other VR headsets don’t scare me because they are just looking at screens so as long as you don’t turn them up too bright you will be fine. Keep up the good work and please do the projection ar glasses when they come out.

Buy the 20 watt is more than enough for most People! However the life expectancy is shorter for the 20 watt and 40 watt lasers. The 10 watt is probably better if you not cutting thick wood more than 5MM
