  Some thoughts include: How relationships involve “keeping on [doing something together”]. How “faithful are the wounds of a friend” b/c the friend wants to steer you away from the “profuse… kisses of an enemy” (Proverbs 27:6) How Christ has specific criticism and abundant encouragements.

  This is an extraordinary and wonderful way to present the gospel, both expository and culturally aware; calling people to repent while showing the beauty of Jesus; showing the credibility of faith in Jesus while denying none of his supernatural power. This is a model that I pray will be widely and effectively copied.
