Hello everyone! Welcome to my KZread channel. If you enjoy a small channel/ small town feel, you have definitely came to the right place. I pride myself with developing content that is relatable to the everyday rider. I will be uploading rides on my 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6-R. Typically, the rides will either be small group rides with a few friends or touring moto vlog style videos. I also have a 2020 Yamaha MT-03 which has been wrecked, but I am currently doing a rebuild on. The goal of the MT is going to be stunting. Most have found the channel via my crash. I do not intend on that being the peak of the channel. So come along for the ride and help the channel grow! It's going to be a fun ride so be sure to grab a chair and some biker friends and enjoy! Cheers

Does the turtle need rear sets?
It did. I ended up having to sell it due to personal things going on
@@boringkhaos Im good. Just fixed a major problem on mine. I over tightened the chain yeeting it too far left, it was making the noises! 😂 Quarter turn loose on the operator side of the back wheeel fixed that.
Awesome! I was told to just check the marks on the axle and swingarm and go about 2 finger widths of play in the chain
Shift by ear... How hard is that?
@timmit3579 lol some people don't understand and I've had a lot of people ask. You'd be surprised how many people haven't even operated a standard shift transmission and don't understand how it works. I didn't make the video for views I made it cause I have had people ask and figured it could be helpful.
Wasup mannn keep up the grind glad to see you back
Thanks I appreciate it. Going to try and get back to regular content!
Hey mate, glad to see you back. I was going to comment on the weekend to ask how you were going but didn't get around to it. I've not uploaded in a few weeks either. Been wet and cold here (it's winter here) so haven't been riding much because it's a pain getting rugged up like the michelin man and don't want to ride home in the dark when it's wet
That's awful. It's been over 90 every day for 2 weeks here lol. I don't know which is worse.
@@boringkhaos i much prefer heat to cold. I went into a corner at speed a few weeks back, went to grab the front brake and my fingers were numb. Thankfully i was only precautionary braking, but still was a bit scary. It was about 40f. I've just bought some hand guards to attach to the bike to keep the wind off my hands. I'll give them a try whenever it stops raining. The rest of my body i can keep warm quite well. Hottest ride I've done was just under 100f and it was hot but ok. The worst bit is if you have to stop or just crawl along in traffic
I 100% agree with everything you said. I can say that I have put rubber gloves over my riding gloves and you would be amazed at how much it helps. Just because it keeps the wind off of your fingers.
@@boringkhaos I've trief nitrile mechanic gloves, washing up gloves and some thin fabric under my gloves (not all at once) but couldn't find anything big enough to go over my gloves. I tried plastic bags but they were too slippery. I bought some new winter gloves which helped a bit. The other part of the problem is that by the time i get downstairs, get the bike out from under the house and then get the last of my gear on, my hands are already cold, so the never get a chance to warm up in the gloves. I should get the bike out, then go get ready for work and be fully geared up before i leave the house
@mad082sss I say that too but I'm procrastinate too much. Lol. Try under the gloves. I think that's actually what I did. And now that I think of it it was those rubberized gardening gloves. They are like rubber on the outside and wool or some kinda fabric on the inside. It also helps I'm extremely warm blooded. And also takes no more than 10 minutes to go to work.
Glad to see ya at it again bro!! I've been in an uploaded slump here lately, gonna correct that here shortly.. just gotta sort through old footage.
Hey just gotta keep your head up I was the same. I tore my quad when I wrecked. Then literally 2 days after I was able to get on we had a baby and it's just been unmotivated due to weather every since.
@boringkhaos Congrats on the baby my friend!
Thank you!
Been 110 plus here for 2 weeks try to ride super eatly
Same! I just ride back and forth to work but I work outside so the breeze is nice lol. And it rained for 2 weeks straight before the heat wave
Welcome back bro. Need to make time to ride.
1000% had a pretty rough wreck. I didn't have motion in my knee for a few weeks. 2 days after I was able to get on the bike was in hospital and then it rained for 2 weeks straight. So motivation has been hard to come by. But I'm back now! Thanks bro!!
16:20 and 16:30 you keep moving your position to the left while entering a left turn, meaning you're going very close to oncoming vehicles, and after 16:30 you drift onto the other side. Have you thought about getting an instructor for an hour or two? Could be excellent content. See if it really makes a difference. Tip an instructor taught me was to look further ahead. That gives more time. That time you can use to be more aware of what's ahead, more time to position, be in the right gear, check mirrors, etc. You can see the road turning left but you don't need to ride the left of your lane, so close to traffic. You can practice riding center, riding center left, riding center right, holding each of those lines through corners. Just to practice you choosing the line, you being able to put the bike where you want it. Not just drifting. If you had known about this, maybe from instructor or videos/books (Road Craft UK Motorcycle Police Guide To Riding) then maybe you'd not have had this accident. However this was a relatively minor accident. It's a credit to you that you choose a slower bike, tried your best, was relatively cautious too. But it was clear to myself and other viewers that you couldn't corner well. Please consider hiring an instructor for an hour or two. Won't cost you much, and could really make a big difference to your life. Nice video. Good that you're ok and learning more.
Yeah I know it. I have corrected most of these things over the years. Thankfully nothing worse happened and I have enough people willing to help. I definitely have learned to stay in the 2 or 3 lp on stretches like this unless a long straight stretch I like lp1 that way I'm able to have a better line of sight
can you let m know the width of your handle? is this the Yamaha MT07?
It's the mt03 and I'm not sure I understand what you mean
Bro my stock 03 top speed is 175kmph Will definitely go over 100mph
Mine would do 108 on a really long flat or slight down grade. Weight is also a factor as well.
Classic bug lol
😅
Idk about taking off my abs man. Coupke times it kicked in, I coukda died without that shama shama shama (abs sound in my mind)
Lol. Probably smart of you. I just used it to do slides and stuff like a crazy man. Haha.
You took the abs off?
I just unplugged the front sensor. That turns off the abs completely but you keep the speedometer. If you unplug the rear you lose the speedometer.
Man i aint fell of the earth, but I'm damn stuck on puttin them bars. I think i need new grips and the bar ends wont thread on either. Just hey man hows it hangin?
I got some rubber barends on Amazon and used those they're like a rubber one size fits all. Kind of like the universal freeze plugs if you ever used one. I also got grips from there but any of the 7/8 grips will work. Too bad you're not around here. I would love to help.
Lirun 2 Pieces 7/8" Handlebar... www.amazon.com/dp/B0BPXCMB2R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share here's the barends I used.
Dunlea for Yamaha MT03 MT-03 MT... www.amazon.com/dp/B0CF8L84R2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Here's the grips lol
i watched the whole thing. that was cool haha, that wheelie over the crest of the hill was so cool lol.
Thanks! I try to have fun with it! Hopefully get to get back at it with the videos.
@@boringkhaos I found this video searching google images for “mt03 stunt bike” it’s such an underrated machine. First gear she comes up so nice. Would you consider getting that velocity stacks and a tune from 2wheel dynoworks?
I went from 350 2 stroke, 55 bhp, 150 kg, 330 lbs to a sports 600, 95 bhp, 205 kilo, 450 lbs. The extra weight was huge and made the handling much slower for changes of direction. Looking back I can see I was lucky to have had the time on the much lighter 350 than starting on a 600. Shortly after getting the 600 I accelerated briskly on a city street and a car came from a side road and turned into my path and blocked it. I baked hard, the car driver just froze, made no attempt to undo their blocking of the road, and i was able to brake, steer, slide the rear wheel accidentally, the front was steering safely to the side of the car, but the rear was sliding so it was still going in a line towards the edge of the car. I released the rear brake and it gripped and stepped enough for me to avoid the car. Way more power, acceleration and weight, which made it harder to get out of trouble. And a lot easier to get into it.
So anyone going to a 600, just a heads up that they are not as maneuverable as a 300.
100% I upgraded to the 636 and was in the exact same scenario. I thought it was a learning curve just get used to it. After about a yeah I got the mt03 back and rode it a few times. It's not as exhilarating speed wise but the handling of the mt03 is amazing and very maneuvers very well
1:18 maybe a quick look as you're going into an intersection just to make sure nothing is busting through the lights. I ride in a city so we got taught to always check cross roads, junctions, because there's so much traffic. Looks like you have way less traffic, nice for you. Nice bike.
17:35 Very gently, barely touching it, the rear brake can help tighten the steering line. Needs practice, low speeds first. But it can help.
I've definitely became accustomed to doing so. That's very good advice. Just because they sound not be there doesn't mean that it's not.
Can the throttle operation be adjusted so you don't have to twist it so much to get the response that you should have... I'd like to know...!
You can get an r6 throttle tube. That's what I did. It will give you the response you are looking for and they're cheap on Amazon
I am interested in this bike as a replacement/final bike for the 2002 BMW R1150R I sold to a more deserving owner...I am 65 years old and I would still like to ride, but I want something lighter & more easy to operate...This bike seems to be more to my requirements for a replacement bike...
This bike is amazing for what you are looking. It if very light and so easy to flip around corners and maneuver. It's tagged as "beginner" so there's very limited controls. It's the very basic. You get abs and lights and that's about it. It's nothing too much. The only downfall Is It's not overly torqued. But it'll do a little over 100. I recommend it to everyone
You are already a dork head
Lol mother trucker😂
😅😅
Great performance test, nice riding says as a wind visor might lower any drag pick the speedup some.
Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.
I have a 2023 mt03, my top speed is 101-102, then the shift light comes on. 😂 bike, if there was another gear waiting, I WOULD shift!
Hahaha yes! I feel that haha. I'm still searching for 7th gear.
The cricket. Seen
Do what? Lol
What mods have you done to the bike, I got a 21 mt-03 and wanan get some
I've done tons. Checkout my most recent video. It's a walkaround of the bike showing everything.
Very nice bro imma buy an MT03 soon, just moved near the Appalachians too. I'm in North Carolina
How are you recording your audio for this? And helmet cam or chest cam?
It's an amazing bike to start with and even to ride period. I still enjoy riding even with having my zx6r as well
@@boringkhaos oh my first bike is an '05 Yamaha Vulcan 800 (cruiser not sport bike lol), I was just in a hurry to own something to get more practice on 😆 she is beautiful tho
I find it pretty unpleasant to ride the mt-03 at 70-80mph.
It just depends. The interstate is very unpleasant. However on an open highway not too bad.
Considering this bike. Looks you’re driving in the bluegrass region of Kentucky.
Actually middle tn. But it might as well be lol.
That impact crash cage do you have the website for it i can't find it, i have a 2020 mt 03 will it fit
Yes it should fit. It's the same year as mine. It may have been listed as an r3
impaktechusa.com/products/crash-cage-yamaha-mt-03-2016-2024
'promosm' 😀
I've been putting in work need to be more consistent!
dude, my first time on the dragon a few years ago I nearly wrecked on that same turn. It is the sneakiest turn (imo), not the hardest, but def the trickiest lol. Everytime I hit that turn I always get a little gunshy
Yes!!! It's such an odd turn and you think you're done but it still gets you lol. I've heard of a few wrecking there!
"I can't see......................................so that's good." 😅
😅😅 I try to have fun. My sense of humor usually goes unnoticed. I appreciate you lol
Will it still do 89 with the pzza cutter on it?
Thats when I chicken out. Bout 90
It would do 107 downhill before now its 85. And that is on rev limiter lol. Mph of course
It's 85 top out on rev limiter now haha
Methinks i need a pepperoni pizza
It's so unnecessary but awesome. I went 58 tooth if I had to do it again I would try and find a 52 or around that. You run out of gear by the time the wheel is off the ground. My buddy can wheelie it in 3rd but he's about 100 pounds lighter than me.
Ultimate ripper. Says me
Things mint!
Do they got a teal chain?!😂 That sprocket puts a pepper on my pizza.
Haha I'm sure they do. I got my set from siccshop.com
No rearsets on mt yet? Do or not? Your opinion
I actually ordered a set off ebay and they got canceled 2 weeks later cause the guy said his dad died. This might sound scrappy but I don't know what that has to do with shipping my parts lol. I'm pretty patient didn't have to straight up cancel me haha
IMHO I would for a purpose built bike but just for commuting it's not necessary. My biggest debate is that my stock is damaged. And why buy oem when I can hit up ebay for 100 bucks
Tube was king.
Im not trying to scrubb my tires, they're for miles not styles!
I respect that. Mines a toy at this point. That's why I went with the 100 dollar Amazon tire on the rear lol
I want a custom pad.
I got the protaper bars bro! Theyre not on yet but they look sick. Did you delete the abs?
I wouldn't say I deleted it, haha. I more or less drove it around a few times, disconnecting sensors until I had a speedometer and was able to do brake skids lol. I'm pretty sure I ended up with the front sensor disconnected and back connected. Either that or vice versa. It was some trial and error to get what I wanted. As far as the bars go, it was simple. Just make sure to drill your holes for the controls otherwise they slide around. And you will have to cut a little bit off the ends to keep stock cable lengths.
What number did you cut? It has a 1,2,3,4, mark.
You dont do something with the rear your gonna turn your ass into swiss cheese! 😅
For real! I'm thinking about customizing a hack job 12 bar and adding a support bar like a sissy bar somewhat like you see on cruisers. But I want to integrate it where I can do standing wheelies as I get better. It's in the thought process right now trying to decide what I wanna do. The initial idea was to completely hack it all off but there's some important stuff there lol
The 03 looks like a great learning bike. If you had it to do over again what would you get to learn on?
I 100% would get the mt03 again. I actually really still enjoy riding it. It's fun. It's super easy to ride. It's extremely forgiving if you get in a bind. It isn't so fast it'll get away from you. It's so easy to work on as a naked cause everything is accessible without dealing with all the fairings. Also God forbid you do wreck it, parts are crazy cheap.
I my self Ride a S 750 KATANA. It can go from 0 to 160mph very Quickly. You be careful and be safe .nice job riding Her
Thanks! I appreciate it. You do the same
Nice job riding it sir i my self have a S 750 Katana. I cango. 160
Nice I like the katanas. Rode with one last night actually
Hey brother! How do you do the look around vids like this? Is that by exporting in 360 instead of flat??
Yes it is. And let me tell you. It actually adds a step or 2 lol
@boringkhaos I figured it wasn't gonna be that simple lmao 🤣
@tas787 I'm sure there's other ways but I had to pay a dollar for an app on my computer and then learn how to process it. Then edit it in 180 change it back to 360 then upload it. And I can't do 180 and 360 in the same video it makes to flat 180 videos lol. At least I haven't figured it out yet
Dam i have the same bike and plan on learning wheelies soon.. get'er back on the road soon and ride safe 🙏
Yeah cage was at the house lol. I got it on and it's back on the road I've just been testing the waters doing videos with my other bike
If I could truly split, would I?
Don't recommend it Lol. I try not to but it's so tempting when there's a perfect gap and the cars are just riding same speed side by side. I wish we had more than 2 lanes on our highways here
I can only dream rn. 🐢🔥🐢🔥🇺🇸💪🏿
Time brother!
@9:07 look back man, sheesh! Pushin p man
I don't know if you seen or not how aggressive they were not wanting me to pass
