Boring Khaos

Boring Khaos

Hello everyone! Welcome to my KZread channel. If you enjoy a small channel/ small town feel, you have definitely came to the right place. I pride myself with developing content that is relatable to the everyday rider. I will be uploading rides on my 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6-R. Typically, the rides will either be small group rides with a few friends or touring moto vlog style videos. I also have a 2020 Yamaha MT-03 which has been wrecked, but I am currently doing a rebuild on. The goal of the MT is going to be stunting. Most have found the channel via my crash. I do not intend on that being the peak of the channel. So come along for the ride and help the channel grow! It's going to be a fun ride so be sure to grab a chair and some biker friends and enjoy! Cheers

    Hey mate, glad to see you back. I was going to comment on the weekend to ask how you were going but didn't get around to it. I've not uploaded in a few weeks either. Been wet and cold here (it's winter here) so haven't been riding much because it's a pain getting rugged up like the michelin man and don't want to ride home in the dark when it's wet

    @@boringkhaos i much prefer heat to cold. I went into a corner at speed a few weeks back, went to grab the front brake and my fingers were numb. Thankfully i was only precautionary braking, but still was a bit scary. It was about 40f. I've just bought some hand guards to attach to the bike to keep the wind off my hands. I'll give them a try whenever it stops raining. The rest of my body i can keep warm quite well. Hottest ride I've done was just under 100f and it was hot but ok. The worst bit is if you have to stop or just crawl along in traffic

  • @boringkhaos

    I 100% agree with everything you said. I can say that I have put rubber gloves over my riding gloves and you would be amazed at how much it helps. Just because it keeps the wind off of your fingers.

    @@boringkhaos I've trief nitrile mechanic gloves, washing up gloves and some thin fabric under my gloves (not all at once) but couldn't find anything big enough to go over my gloves. I tried plastic bags but they were too slippery. I bought some new winter gloves which helped a bit. The other part of the problem is that by the time i get downstairs, get the bike out from under the house and then get the last of my gear on, my hands are already cold, so the never get a chance to warm up in the gloves. I should get the bike out, then go get ready for work and be fully geared up before i leave the house

  • @boringkhaos
    @boringkhaos25 күн бұрын

    @mad082sss I say that too but I'm procrastinate too much. Lol. Try under the gloves. I think that's actually what I did. And now that I think of it it was those rubberized gardening gloves. They are like rubber on the outside and wool or some kinda fabric on the inside. It also helps I'm extremely warm blooded. And also takes no more than 10 minutes to go to work.

    16:20 and 16:30 you keep moving your position to the left while entering a left turn, meaning you're going very close to oncoming vehicles, and after 16:30 you drift onto the other side. Have you thought about getting an instructor for an hour or two? Could be excellent content. See if it really makes a difference. Tip an instructor taught me was to look further ahead. That gives more time. That time you can use to be more aware of what's ahead, more time to position, be in the right gear, check mirrors, etc. You can see the road turning left but you don't need to ride the left of your lane, so close to traffic. You can practice riding center, riding center left, riding center right, holding each of those lines through corners. Just to practice you choosing the line, you being able to put the bike where you want it. Not just drifting. If you had known about this, maybe from instructor or videos/books (Road Craft UK Motorcycle Police Guide To Riding) then maybe you'd not have had this accident. However this was a relatively minor accident. It's a credit to you that you choose a slower bike, tried your best, was relatively cautious too. But it was clear to myself and other viewers that you couldn't corner well. Please consider hiring an instructor for an hour or two. Won't cost you much, and could really make a big difference to your life. Nice video. Good that you're ok and learning more.

    I went from 350 2 stroke, 55 bhp, 150 kg, 330 lbs to a sports 600, 95 bhp, 205 kilo, 450 lbs. The extra weight was huge and made the handling much slower for changes of direction. Looking back I can see I was lucky to have had the time on the much lighter 350 than starting on a 600. Shortly after getting the 600 I accelerated briskly on a city street and a car came from a side road and turned into my path and blocked it. I baked hard, the car driver just froze, made no attempt to undo their blocking of the road, and i was able to brake, steer, slide the rear wheel accidentally, the front was steering safely to the side of the car, but the rear was sliding so it was still going in a line towards the edge of the car. I released the rear brake and it gripped and stepped enough for me to avoid the car. Way more power, acceleration and weight, which made it harder to get out of trouble. And a lot easier to get into it.

    1:18 maybe a quick look as you're going into an intersection just to make sure nothing is busting through the lights. I ride in a city so we got taught to always check cross roads, junctions, because there's so much traffic. Looks like you have way less traffic, nice for you. Nice bike.

    This bike is amazing for what you are looking. It if very light and so easy to flip around corners and maneuver. It's tagged as "beginner" so there's very limited controls. It's the very basic. You get abs and lights and that's about it. It's nothing too much. The only downfall Is It's not overly torqued. But it'll do a little over 100. I recommend it to everyone
