  @manuelsantana819 this particular one is over a million. its in a gated community with 2 acres and has a lot of extras. There are a lot of nice modern farmhouses in the 600-700 range.

  Hi Jerry! Yes it is in Woodland Meadows. No city taxes. No water bills. No co-ops. You find that with many of the farmhouses on an acre or 2 in our area.

  @@manuelsantana819 We have helped a lot of people relocate here from CA and have made some great new friends that really like it here. There are some nice farmhouses in the $500-900K range. If you are looking for some land, like 1-2 acres, these are typically 15-25 minutes from Fort Worth. The builder on this video is one of our favorites. Let us know if we can help.

  As I live and breath. I just don't get this post World War Two society. This obsession with isolated, single-family houses. As a Baby Boomer raised in the suburbs myself, there was no love lost being stuck as a teen in a Montreal suburb. Why is this home with such beautiful finishes, plopped down in the middle of nowhere? There's no transportation, so you'll be dependent on a car. Where are the grocery stores, schools, parks, day cares, hard-ware stores, cafes, restaurants? Give me my somewhat down-at-the-heel life in mid-town Toronto, being able to walk everywhere with many amenities at my finger-tips. No way do I want to be stuck in some field on a dark and star-less night, especially those times when I'd be on my own!

  Love the fireplace and built ins in the living room. If I were building this house I would have to add some color, perhaps in the backsplash and some color to some of the feature walls. I also would add crow molding.

  If they are going to put closet rods that high, they need to install the ones with the handles that you can pull down. You would need a ladder to reach those. Edit: Also, I would give up some of the master room for a larger closet.

  Thanks for watching and your feedback. Some people use the extension rods and put their winter clothes at the top. But the handles would be nice. The primary bedroom seems to be a personal preference. Some like the big room for a sitting / reading area or to put in a home office desk. Others could use the extra closet space.
