Okay who else thinks this need a port to modern consoles who is with me
19 minutes of nothing
Thanks for the awesome review! I just picked it up for $16 on a sale. Looking forward to trying it out!
Unrelated, but have you ever played the Disgaea games? With the way you crunch numbers, those would be right up your alley. Also, did I mention how glad I am that they're not using this mechanic anymore for future games?
1. Vesperia 2. Xillia 1 3. Graces f 4. Symphonia 5. Abbys
bless you good sir
for me it wont level it up.. everytime I do those task that needs Does anyone know?
Well one of these happened.
I’d happily play this game again. The skells are the selling point. I loved the super powerful weapons you could make for them, I never got to fully explore them or unlock all the mechs as the materials were hard to grind for.
I'm playing on Expert Difficulty and I think the difficulty is a bit weird. Initially, the game starts off as easy. Then at Chapter 3, specifically for Longfang boss fight, it's hard as hell. He had at least 3 moves that can insta killed me. But then I found out about Tactic Tweaker, use it, and it's kinda normal. The game becomes easy after that until Chapter 6. It's not hard but I couldn't call it easy either. The enemies easily 10+ more levels than me. Then post endgame the game became so easy again. To me, the game's difficulty is like going up down up down lmao.
Oh that opening at 0:00. Okay, Xenoblade Chronicles X is the Only, Xenoblade game I played. (I know Lin has monado hair pins, I played Smash.) Edit: I could geek out about that game for a long time 😅 Switch port some day 🙏
I have used ~90 commons, 35 rares and 2 legendaries, and got ONE rare. Yet the next day I got kosmos after four tries. Then again no luck for multiple hours of grinding. Smh
Berseria, I would always recommend that one for beginners
Tama was the worst character in the FF series.
I just recently got back to playing it via dumping the files on Cemu (because I needed that collector's edition when it originally came out!) and, my God, it still boggles my mind how the world feels infinitely more alive than almost every open world game released today! The gameplay feels so much smoother and fast-paced than pretty much every other RPG I've played. I think my only disappointments are with the story being a little weak, the characters requiring you to find them to put them in your team instead of a dedicated menu, and the lack of tutorials or explanation for gameplay mechanics, even when using the emanual I was able to find online. Seriously, my first playthrough, I had no idea what potential was, how overdrive works (especially in skells where cockpit time becomes a major factor) other than cooldowns being faster, or even what 9/10 status effects did.
Any tips for settings? For me, I get some lag in cutscenes, and when I press ctrl tab to switch between "game pad and tv," I get a weird flashing visual effect that blocks everything. (can't see the gameplay)
Man, I remember playing 7th dragon 2020 with an English patch on the psp years ago. I never owned a 3ds, so didn't get a chance to play this one. It looks pretty similar with a lot of enimies being reused.
I don't like vegeta like the author
My save says I played it for 182 hours & are on Chapter 6, To me You should look at defeating enemies as mowing the grass to increase you power & weapons & money, on average I go into chapter battles 10 to 20 levels higher then I need to, & defeat them in a minute or less. Warning, in the abys if you don't use higgies to form flying cannon at beginning of second phase of battle, you never will, I wasted a hour learning that & had to close the game & start over from save before battle, Evan was lever 72 & it only took about 2 minutes to defeat it. its the second game from the series i have played. it took 245 hours to complete wrath of the white witch.
I discovered this when i noticed that salvaging was broken when i wanted to level up the regions. The more i did it and sold what i found the less the cylinders costed, plus there is a nopon that give you stuff and unlock the expensive cylinders if you farm salvaging for long enough. And now i have 5 million and i am happy (Until i found Sheba)
So, how about that hurricane down south right now, folks? 😅
Wtfys bro
@@BHB_STL Tfyta buddyboy?
@TeamBelmont91 kinda lil further north topside of tha Mason-Dixon but I'm acknowledging what's goin on down there with the apparent naming of this hurricane with the aforementioned namesake tho. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
If i narrow it i'm in group 2 but i also noticed that i got percival before the pity gave it to me. Wish i still have that luck with the other ones
Ngl the gacha on Xenoblade is so cringe yet so fun
I loved X. Wish it could come to Switch so I could have all 4!
My top 10 of the ones I have played... S RANK: Graces F Xillia Xillia 2 Vesperia A RANK: Symphonia 2 Zestiria B RANK: Berseria Symphonia C RANK: (Other games I haven't played will probably end up here or B rank) D RANK Legendia (awesome music other wise it would be E tier) Arise (there is almost nothing I like about this game except for graphics) For clarification my main criteria is gameplay. Symphonia has a great story but the gameplay just isn't as good as most others on this list, and hasnt aged that well. Similarly, Berseria just felt like R2 spam velvets claw + flasky animations (a bit like arise tbh). Symphonia 2 and Zestiria just have more interesting gameplay so thats mainly why they're higher (but tbh i prefer the story in both of those to the story in Berseria)
XD gale of Darkness selling for 300-400 on ebay now XD 😅
We all know what people are gonna be using this for. 💀💀
There are things KOA did better than SR and vise versa. I don't think the world is really that much bigger.
that explains why i didnt like that much zelda botw... i played this first
I watched all these reviews so I could tell if it's worth deleting a good game for this
Never played this game, but the visuals are genuinely just perfect, ff13 perfect, oblivion perfect.
My favorite is Zestiria.
I got kos mos as my first rare blade lol
Everyone talking about XCX. And sure, for good reason. I'm on board. Love that game. But I feel like nobody is asking about XCX2. I've been waiting for word or even just fan hype on XCX2 since I finished the wiiU title. Anybody? Nobody? 🤷♀️
Me also, but I also want the first game ported, cause my Wii U broke, due to prolonged inactivity... I'm still looking for a console repair shop to this day..
@leozar69 bummer. I'd definitely pick up a rad special edition . Looking forward to see what they do next with the series.
@@ChristBurner Sign me up for a special edition too. I'm still hoping for a switch port. If not, I BET, they'll make the port on the switch 2 (or next console..) I'm emulating it now with Cemu. Works great. Even though I had to start over.... 😅🙁
@@leozar69 sounds like a good time to me
I really agree about this ❤❤❤
Zorn and Thorn track is sick
Xenoblade Chronicles X took a lot of inspiration from Western open worlds. I honestly view it as a Western rpg instead of a JRPG.
Finished setsuna on vita and loved soundtrack and the simplicity of the battle system, while the plot just an o-kay. Short, but i really enjoyed it. And today found this for 10$ on a bin sales. If its better than setsuna, then great, if not, still money well spent 😂
this was my first xenoblade game and a mindblowing experience I still haven't recovered from 10 years later. I was quite disappointed in the other xenoblade games because they lacked the incredible open world that made me fall in love with this. I also preferred the subtler more intrigue-focused story compared to the more anime-power-up style story of the other games. the only game design that made me feel nearly as in awe was the first Dark Souls game. god I want this feeling of exploration and adventure from a game again
Now compare this game from 2015 on the Wii U with all the current pokemon switch games. Man are we getting shafted hard..
The popin was hilarious at one point. I was in Cyslodin and were supposed to be keeping a low profile. All the sudden 4 people poped up out of no where. (I roleplayed that they were on to us lol).
Funny enough I bought all the tales except the tales of Hearts, tales of Destiny 2 (Eternia) and tales of Zestria. An...I decided to start with Tales of Arise lol.
booooh drawing the walls is what the game is about
Xenoblade X feels like an actual _open-world._ A world that you can affect with the things you do. The more missions you do the more the outside world changes to reflect that and not even most open world's do that. Most might have small changes here and there but for the most part what you get in the beginning of and open world stays that way until the end. But entire _landmarks_ can change in X. And throughout it you grow you city, adding residents and even some buildings to it. That is immersion right there. That's what makes it such a good open world. The only reason it didn't do as good is too reasons. It was a complete departure from Xenoblade 1, not a true sequel like people were expecting, and it being on the Wii U.
This is just so exact of a explanation o this game there could be and myself see this game as a journey that is most important(atleast what i think+not to easy if it was it would be boring as H*LL)
To Easy??? WHaat!!==This is a game that hasnt anything to do with anything else exept the journey from start to finish and if to easy i would say NO NO n NO... Why do i say no?? Because i have an extremly hard time in any game due to just started to game about 2-3 years back and havent played a singel game since the 80s/90s before 2021/22 so i was so far from a gamer and if i could playthrough the game in a pretty ok way without any extreme hardship i will say this is an ok game if looking for a EASY game"Not to easy, its all about the journey... Its what i think about this game atleast...What do u all think?
Tales of Vesperia is probably the bets place to start. It's older, but it doesn't feel old. It's a good balance between old and new.
People who hate Cold Steel 1 so much they won't play 2 just don't deserve it.
Picked it up for 7$ used at GameStop
Do all you reviewers say and do the exact same thing? Every damn one talks about how the story starts and uses the same stupid slang, such as story beats or dialogue dump. Get some originality!
