I had a bent aluminum louvre from a gazebo roof. It was so strong, even me jumping on it (after I’d removed it from the roof 😄) didn’t straighten it. Your method got it straight-ish, good enough that the louvres now open and close well. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing, and I’m glad videos hang around on KZread for 11+ years. I copied your design and it works great. I don’t have tie-downs in the same position as your trailer so I made the bottom-front 2x4 the full width of the trailer.

Very nice, as good as this wheel chock is for transporting and it is but for what I've spent on my rides, I want nothing but the best to protect them, one fall of the bike will do more damage to my wallet then $250 I spent on Condor or Wheelchuck branded chocks.

I used the gear oil in a squeezable pouch, worked great. Also did my transmission today, just a single drain and fill. I used Valvoline Maxlife. I'm going to do another drain and fill the next time I change the oil. Also ordered the vtm-4 for the differential. Apparently there's not much out there that meets that spec, because I usually don't buy OEM fluids.

Both of the pulleys broke in my Ridgeline and I was able to replace them myself thanks to your video. It took me about an hour. I’m sure the stealership would have charged a few hundred bucks to do it. And all I spent was $20 for new metal pulleys from Amazon. Appreciate it!

It’s been a few years since I posted this. I don’t recall if there was a fuse in-line or not. Regardless, it wasn’t a fuse issue in my case.

  • @tipabr

Just grab the edges of the plastic cover and pull down. The cover will come down about 3-4 inches and stop. Then squeeze the metal spring wires on each side to release them fro the housing.

Good video! Just finished replacing mine on my 2006 Ridgeline. Those supports on the upper back of the seat go pretty far down, you need to really raise the seat up high to get it out. Thanks again!

Good info - thank you. Had a ProSeries 2500 that failed in 6 month - was replaced under warranty and now wondering why it broke again so I am researching the issue. The 5 year warranty sounds great. Thanks. Because you mentioned the piece that fell out - I was able to put it back in and then finally the manual worked. Oddly - it only worked when I put that same piece upside down. The manual wrench turned like butter but when I put it back in properly to allow lid to refit - the wrench would turn NOTHING. Must of been a gear underneath that was glitched. If you had not mentioned the piece that fell out - I may not have even noticed it had fallen. TY You can't get a Bulldog Reese for that same price but the 5 year warranty or purchasing a warranty is a good idea. These jacks fail! Thanks for info - very helpful.

Thanks for the video. It helped me identify my problem but not quite a solution. Just picked up my 30 inch Deluxe yesterday and auger interlock doesn't work. The cotter pins are in place and the cams rotate with the levers being pulled but the auger side one will not engage like you demonstrate. It looks like the catch on that cam is about 1/8" from catching the back plate. Don't know if the auger-side control rod (and thus the cam) is not turning enough with the lever pull, and if so, how I'd fix that. Bought it at Lowe's but I'm sure I'll have to go to a different Ariens service center if I can't figure this out for myself. Aggravating.

  • @tipabr

Yes- it will hold the bike upright until the straps are secured. Kind of like a front bicycle tire in a bike rack. Thanks for the question. -Tim

Concerning the cap modification. Just go ahead and drill all the way through. Tap it with a 1/8 pipe thread tap and use thread sealant on the 1/8 mpt nipple and coupling that you put on before the briggs and stratton angle valve. It should seal fine that way. Drill size for 1/8" pipe thread tap is 21/64".

Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I kzread.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

Thanks so much Tim. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without this video. I had a hard time getting the seat off but I was trying to lift the full seat instead of just the back portion. Also lost a nut that fell behind the carpet so took a while to find it. Other than that everything else went pretty smooth but it was a pain to realign and reassemble everything. Thanks again.
