  I think a kind of tone like this is more fitting for the 3rd movement. The 1st movement should’ve had pipes that played softer notes.

  Buddy the anime is following the LN, not the manga and the writing for both are damn near the same. Only difference is the manga is an abridged version in a nutshell that focuses so much on comedy to a fault. Meanwhile the LN (and anime) balance it's comedy and serious moments. Also...while manga has good art, LN has better, more descriptive and detailed art which is what this video has. 2 images from the novel

  @@Kaiju-bm4ts eh, based on what I’ve seen and read of anime and manga, manga is better. I’m sure LN is better than both though. Anime gets too out of control sometimes, overusing jokes and going crazy with scaling.

  @@asianpersuasion4901 Bro the anime and manga aren't even comparable when both are slightly different adaptations of the same source material. I especially don't understand how the anime overuses joke when it's the manga that does that more often. So often to the point it doesn't take itself seriously for better and worst and I'm saying that as someone who's read and likes both. And idk how scaling comes into play here when a character like shadow for example is OP in every version of the story. Can't say manga is better or worst when it's doing its own thing. Vice versa with the anime.

  This soundtrack really sounds like a villain’s theme which Cid can be considered as a villain in the series. It doesn’t have heroic melodies but instead dramatic and melancholic.
