I'm not hunting but I am backpacking off trail pretty far out into the woods. Normal hiking boots aren't cutting it, and I mean premium hiking boots. They are too low, so I am getting objects like rocks and all kinds of things in them constantly, and even though they are high topped, compared to a running shoe, it isn't enough when you have real weight on your back and you are walking over rocks and boulders or just uneven ground. I had some near misses with twisted ankles pretty far out. If you are backpacking off trails, and making your own route, the landscape is far more rugged both with vegetation and rocks. Also, I need more foot support. After going 12 miles one day, I had to rest the bones of my feet in normal hiking boots. I'm looking at getting either these boots or maybe some of the competition. I am doing a lot of research before I buy them though, because they aren't cheep. But I think this is what I need.
@Going4BrokeOutdoors3 күн бұрын
Just be aware, these boots are quite a bit heavier than hiking boots. Also, if you are getting debris in your footwear regularly, look into adding some gaiters to your setup (if you aren't using them already). Good luck!

Obviously you can tell the guy likes kill videos and there is some sort of jealousy since he mentioned multiple times he has been in the industry for years 😂 Also said they don’t know how to hunt and have learned stuff from other people, I’m like doesn’t everyone do that in life? You can’t talk sense into someone who hates you without even knowing you. It’s just jealousy is all it is. Maybe if they took some pointers on how they run their channel they would get bigger.

I could be considered a hater for this but, I used to be a fan of their videos a couple years ago and would watch every new video as soon as they were dropped. But..at some point they seemed to start trying a little too hard to try to entertain. Trying too hard to try to be funny, too much of doing weird impressions or voices, too much “playing it up for the camera” and over celebrating. It just became too cringe. They’re young guys so I guess that has a lot to do with it. I realize people like all of that and there is an audience for that, but just isn’t for me personally. Towards the end the only person I could watch videos of were Aaron’s videos, he seemed to be the more mature one of the bunch, but even then it seemed the other guys started rubbing off on him and he started going with what “sells.” Just my opinion.
