I just glaze with tomato, onion and garlic till it's medium rare and smoked with rum or moonshine. I'll have to try that next

I regularly get a 5lb package of bone in chicken thighs for like 6 bucks at safeway. I dont mind the skin or bone, but even if i did deboning takes like 30 seconds per thigh. Idk why ppl spend so much money on chicken breasts or let alone precooked chicken.

Is there chuck eye steaks through the whole roll or just near the ribs?

  • @davidballard4752

Just near the rib. If I'm not mistaken, the cuts further down are your Denver steaks

Ok so the chuck eye is literally the eye of the chuck without the denver? Tbh I would let the denver in the chuck eye

I made small roast, then some boneless chops that I pounded tender then breaded them with panko bread crumbs and fried them. Served with Katsu sauce my kids went crazy for it. And I still have some chops in the freezer all for under 20 bucks

Love your whole thing, Meatdad. I stopped buying boneless/skinless anything but I'm sloppy and leaving meat on the bone when I break stuff down. Could you do a couple of real time (SLOWER even) chicken breakdown/deboning videos for the YT channel so people can follow along slowly and actually learn some moves? I get that tiktok/insta videos need to be sped up and bite sized but I'm askin you to do a couple where we walk through it together.

Tried this on a roast I bought on sale for nine bucks. Trimmed it up and put it on the grill last night. Was a little fearful the steaks would be tough but they were delicious.
