  I like to use them when trying to save a glass. Still can make the glass crack and run but better chances than gettin it with a cold knife and bein annoyed all day that i couldnt save it 😂 works pretty good on back glass too but clips can be annoying.

  Heat it up with a heat gun then do what you just did it will help you removing the plane of glass and the glue that’s between it

  I kinda miss doing Auto glass. Did it for two years. 6-7 windshields a day. Less when I had body shop work to do. It was fun. Not many people do it and the money was decent. I also don’t have both of my hands. I was born with no fingers on my left hand and was still able to set by myself. After two years my elbow started to get irritated but my back was always good.

  I’ll be honest cheaper to pay a professional installer I did this to save money by the time a got everything I needed and finished installing it was just about the same amount just pay a professional installment I saved 20$ I wish I would’ve went professional lesson learned
