Brilliant performance. But why do people find this piece emotional? Im a lot into Opera and classical music but its fascinating how not only tastes in genres differ but also the emotional perception of music.

A couple of reasons I suspect. The big note at the end coupled with the strings really touches people. Also the World Cup in Italy 1990 used this piece and gives a lot of people nostalgia (especially during the era Mr Potts did this!)
