    Thanks for the footage. Good to see it in action. Considering this watch myself. When in dive mode does the watch automatically give you the depth and duration of every dive? I’ll be using it for freediving so multiple dives per session and need to rest on surface for 3-4 times the length of the previous dive. Many thanks for your help.

  • @otsoni03
    @otsoni037 ай бұрын

    The watch gives you the depth automatically in dive mode on every dive. However, the diving time measurement is different. According to the manual "Diving time measurement automatically starts when the depth measurement is 1.0m (4ft) or deeper, and stops when the depth measurement is withing 1.0m (4ft). However, if the depth returns to 1.0m (4ft) or deeper within 10 minutes, measurement of the diving time continues to be displayed from the point when it was stopped." So the diving time measurement is really made for scuba diving and not for freediving. Maybe you could use the rotating bezel for the duration of the dive?

    Hi Pekka Hope you well! I have a question for you? I have the same watch as you. In your video i see your watch is not on the dive (ready) mode but yet its still keeping depth ect. I was under the impression that it stayed in dive (ready) mode throughout the time under water. Please advice me, as clearly in your video your watch is working perfectly. Hope this makes sense. Let me know your feedback please as i was about to send my watch in for repairs. Regards Rob

  • @otsoni03

    Hi Robert, the watch turns on the dive ready mode when it gets wet in the water. I have not looked what happens to the ready mode after when you do the actual dive. Now I realize that the watch is not on the ready mode during the dive. Perhaps the instruction manual gives some advice? I am now on a dive trip in Red sea (Egypt) and I don't have the manual with me.

    Great video. Reminds me of diving in the bay at Puerto Vallarta. I no longer dive, but I bought a JP2000-08e (with bracelet) 5 months ago. I synchronized it against GMT 4 months ago and since then it is only running a total of 2 seconds fast. I wonder how many other JP2000’s are that accurate, or is mine just a fluke? My titanium eco-drive BN2041-81L runs 9 sec fast per month, which is not a problem, but that’s not nearly as impressive as 0.5 sec fast per month. Both are great watches, but my favourite is definitely the JP2000. Great watch. I find the 24 mm lug width makes the bracelet to case connection so much more secure and comfortable. I wish all my watches were 24mm lug widths.
