  Anyone build their own transform switches from simple push button switches from Radio Shack like I did back then? I built mine into my DJ case so I didn't have an extra box to hook up outside it. I think you could also transform if you had a fader on your mixer that moved very fast. Mine did not.

  I aint hating but flash made a whole lot of money off of mele mell what did grandmaster do on " the message, beat street, white lines, or survival " ?

  Flash wasn't credited on Beat Street or Message II (Survival), and none of them made any money from the recordings, hence why Flash and Mel tried to sue Sugar Hill Records.

  I wanted one of these things so bad when I was in high school! Then I got a hold of it & was not too impressed. I had it hooked to my setup (Numark Axis 9’s & a standard Numark M-4 mixer). You can only line it to 1 CD player/turntable, so you can’t use it to transform from one unit to the other. In other words, you’d need to buy 2 of them to be effective🤦🏽‍♂️ Not too sure if you can use it with the digital DJ controllers (e.g. Numark NS7, Numark Mixdeck, Gemini GMX, Prodigy B-52) and most mixers have buttons or switches on them that allow you to transform easily, so there’s really no need for one of these - ironically, Gemini (the company that makes the FlashFormer) has mixers like this too. Still useful for beginner DJs looking to learn how to transform, but otherwise it’s pretty much as useful nowadays as a cassette deck!
