    In the manual there is a complete chapter for lifting units fault finding... I guess it is electrically controlled by the ECM so i would start checking those safety related switches if they are having bad connections... Seat switch wiring for example can be broken giving occasional operation. But fault finding needs to be done case by case and that unit of yours might be quite complicated one

    @@Komfobia Your wellcome. Those are just wild guesses based on your description... If it does not operate in so many phases and does it occasionally could be the reason in the allowing circuit (seat switch, door switch, parking brake release switch, wire harness). But just a wild guess where to start to make sure that side works. Then to proceed that electric coils operate for the valves... maybe to test functions by feeding straight current from battery to see that valve switches

    One little trick is to raise the front deck just a little when you start to bog down as it puts weight on the front traction wheels and sometimes you can drive out of the soft area.

  • @Triumphwonderdog

    What I have noticed is the height of your deck when cutting. I was employed by a major city in the USA not far from the Toro company and they would often use our parkland to test new products. In hot weather we would raise the cutting height to 3-3&1/2 inches so the grass would shade the soil but with cooler wet weather we would cut at 2&1/2 inches.

And also our summers migth not be that rough for lawn that they are in US... we have quite limited drier period where lawn does not get completely burned even cutting it lower... of course it dries in parts of the yard but recovers afterwards. Waiting is not that big problem since nobody pays from this. But of course it would still be good to be fluent in the job so order of tasks plays a big role in the outcome. One problem is that when this type of work is performed only couple of times during the year I easily forget that how it was efficient to do even its quite simple things 🤣

    I have been looking at modifying a boat trailer with a similar drive system as yours. Do you think your system could drive a 2 tonne boat up a slight incline within too much trouble? No tractor or anything pulling it, fully self driven.

  • @JuhaErkkila
    @JuhaErkkila Жыл бұрын

    Depends really much on the grip between roller and tyres... And of course of the sizing of hydraulic motors. If we are talking about boat inclines by the lakes they are actually quite steep so 2 tons would be a challenge. I rebuilt these rollers to have better grip but they are still slipping and not utilizing hydraulic motors torque... so depends really much on your slope angle. Possible but dimensioning must be spot on.
