There is a red reflective tape that you can put on the drone so the seagulls wont see it as a threat.
I know about the reflective tape just concerned if it is metal tape how much weight it will add as I'm close to my max sub 250gram limit.
Don't think it's real metal but more like mylar film. So I don't think it will add that much weight . You'll have to find out how much the roll weighs and how many feet/meters long. Then do a little math.

Great fixing the swap file. Wonder if that would help my video player as well. My video player does not like 720p x 60 it keeps skipping frames. You need to fix your avatar because she looks demonic. put commas between your ports. Example: 20, 21, 22, 115. Personally, i use port 1440 and 65510
Well, just put commas in the listening port box between each port number after clicking OK opened again, and the commas were gone again.

You should be able to check for open ports, and if your router has a loopback feature you'd be able to simply put the wan address in, however, if no loopback, you can use a port scanner website to test for open ports, i don't think Ubuntu should make any difference to checking LAN/WAN connections. You popped up in my stream for some reason, probably due to me searching for 3D models recently, but have been using alternative OS's for many years, no expert, but have my own web servers and used to have an FTP one too, Orange Pi, Raspberry Pi and some other thing Ive got all hooked up doing stuff, Pi Hole, Flight Aware, a audio streamer from the garden, all sorts! ha

@@aerotro it MUST be your router, I am guessing it does not have a loopback feature, I’ve come across this when I used to setup CCTV systems for a living a few years back, so I invested a 3G dongle so I could test on my laptop for the clients WAN IP, then I had fun with the mobile networks, as some are behind CGNAT, where it’s not possible to port forward like conventional means, ‘3’ have just gone CGNAT so even if you use the correct APN your not going to get it to work, funny how teamviewer works through it though 🫤

The Cfly faith mini does not have LED strobes no only a rear battery led.

Yes I have found it very good so far but try to stick to the built in software if you can on flatpack or zorin repository I had some damage when I installed 'CPU frequency settings' app I don't know for certain if it was that app, as I also installed Virtual Box somehow the 2 caused a conflict it is wise to use TIMESHIFT app to make backups on external drive!

If you keep looking on my playlist videos, I made a link on one of them. You can download the sketch up model. Can't remember which video it was, but maybe the last few were in the playlist.
I have the gEDA on my Ubuntu 18.04 machine. It's easy to learn plus you can make your own components and foot prints. The old version I have on my desk top may have some bugs because I would loss some components when going from schematic to PCB layout. Plus the old version auto router would only give you 2 options for layouts but you can always manually draw the traces in. You will have to see if there's a new updated version of gEDA.
I looked at 3 so far but installed Librepcb to try sometime as it has a big library of components. Will have to see if gEDA is already on my system.

no idea not tried it, but theirs a boundary around the sandbox if you cross the boundary it de-res the model and it is returned to me, once I flew the helicopter to close to a building outside the sandbox and I fell out of the sky and heli was gone back to my inventory.
Ort microphones have different frequency ranges that they can pickup right? Also do microphone have different values? I'm wondering if one could change the frequency by adding a pot in the line? I have also seen the angle video in the sky but it was years ago.
Usually Microphones have a resonant frequency range, and taper off at low and high ends, so no a pot won't help, but an active (Amplifier) with band pass filters can extend the ranges. Something similar was used in record player cartridges when the cartridge produced too much tone aka treble (High frequency) the bass was very poor almost none existent. So they devised a special circuit that tapers the high frequency response lower, and boosted the bass. Similar to what Dolby NR did but in reverse. That reset might only work for desktop computers as the keyboard setup is different then a laptop. My laptop uses FN for Print Screen which is under the "END" button. So I would have to press the ALT+FN+END buttons then type REISUB. Maybe a Hotkey could be setup to do the reset ? Just a thought.
Zorin OS 17 is for desktop PC's yes, I am sure theirs an alternative for laptops the point is to show people google search they can search for what they use!
Maybe it's because you're trying to render the video from the editor in 4K. Probably best not to do that if you are not rendering any 4K clips. Probably freezing as your device might not be able to handle this? Try exporting/rendering everything in 1080p instead and this shouldn't happen in the future.
I'm not sure I was out at the store buying food, when I came back it was frozen.

Better wear gloves when putting on your funnel because you'll be the first one to get stabbed by it. Diatomaceous earth around the bottom of the plant will stop them from climbing up the stems and it will not hurt the plant.

Well, short answer, that is what a pre-flight check is about, make sure propellers are installed properly, no loose screws, battery is fully charged, etc. If it did have a power failure at 200 feet, it's safe to say goodbye drone it would not survive the impact as plastic is very fragile. It would be totalled.

Ahh, I never saw that, but my CAA Licence expires at the end of month, doubt I will be flying again until I can afford to renew it. Money is very tight, struggling to buy food right now. Perhaps I can try that indoors to see? Does it show on the APP ? Because this app is very poor and hard to see outside.

If your drone has a camera (unless it is a toy) or weighs 250g or more then you need to register with the CAA. You need to renew this registration every year. This is a registration of you as the operator rather than the drone itself

page 36 of the manual, unlock to takeoff, if you do this a lot of times, you can see if one of your engines is not spinning like it should with the others, that can be a reason it flips

Ah, just saw your description commentary… yeah, the GPS/Gryo board is of a cheap brand and the manufacturer seems to have rushed the process to get it out to the market that’s why you (and others) have such issues whether it’s GPS, motor failure, burnt ESC’s, faulty gimbal, etc. But hey, I’m glad you have fixed it and are able to enjoy it. Short answer don't know if I did, think it has trouble receiving GPS in heavy cloud conditions.
Looks like there’s a few things that you can try to pinpoint where the problem is coming from... 1. Open the app (connect drone, remote) and go to where it says, “Mine” on the bottom left of the screen. Tap it and then go to “Firmware Upgrade” and tap it to see if there’s any new firmware available or the one that failed to download but make sure you have good solid WiFi internet connection before doing so. Also make sure you have all app permissions allowed. 2. It could be that one of the motors are not working properly or the propellers are not installed correctly. I’ve seen this “turtle flip” happen when the propellers are installed the wrong way (i.e. Propellers A are installed where Propellers B should be) 3. Open the top shell and inspect the motor cable connections to see if they are all intact or if one or more of them are disconnected or damaged. 4. Another possibility is that the rubber shock absorbers on the gyroscope/GPS module board are loose or broken which can cause it to behave erratically upon take off.
I just discovered I had an erratic satellite just 2 seconds before take-off. I did not see it before, but only 10 satellites on takeoff. Took screen shots.
I already took it apart to check those things. All seems good. I need to upload that video next after compressing.
