The Sable/Taurus of this generation are very nice cars. I personally owned a 2000 Mercury Sable LS premium sedan for about 2 years with the Duratec motor. In March of this year I had to get rid of it due to transmission failure. It only had 71,500 miles on it. It was my great grandmother’s car and it sat for a long time after she stopped driving it. I have to say although if didn’t make it to high mileage driving wise it was one of the best vehicles I have driven.

That's normal for the 6.4 powerstroke. Because of the flooding of cylinders 7 and 8 with fuel to rase the temperature of the exhaust to 900% F to 1200%F the rings fit loos to handle the excessive heat this also allows excessive fuel to dump into the crankcase causing major premature motor life expectancy and catastrophic failure. The whole emisions system is a failed science prodject forced on the Ford motor company.

I had t return for a refund. Read reviews and a lot of people having the same issue. It worked only for 5-7 times from the moment it was unpacked to the moment it died.

Same issue. Why didn’t you pull it apart? My seller isn’t replying back. I will probably open it up.

Booting up with just one blink is normal operation NOT and indication of any fault. Thermometer runs OpenWRT and just a short blink is a normal boot up process. After few minutes, once thermometer is booted up, it should be set up secure.sarmalink.com/sites/default/files/QuickSetup-AL-NET2K-200v0.1.pdf

That's not the radio. That's the CRT. You have no idea what condition these are in- but surely they all have old electronics that must be replaced, usually $150 +S&H then it will be trouble free for another 25+ years. The radio is down inside the center console, drivers side. These too, must be overhauled to work properly. I had my CRT done and now it's better than new- with upgraded modern components. PM me on my channel, I will give you info. Cheers
