Can I use LB-75S with SIRUI R-3213X + VH-10X ??
Not sure if the unit has the 75mm video bowl system. If so, then yes.
How about publishing some info on how to fix the defective 'locking' wingnut issue???
Its called cropping
love the music, quite soothing, and great video, quite a kit worth of accessories, but great rig.
Can not unlock with that “butterfly” once locked firmly. It had ever cut my finger nails and caused bleeding when I tried hard to unlock it. this is a stupid design even though manufactured at high quality.
The design is poor, Leofoto were no help when it came to trying to get info on how to fix the jam as well.
great product, and wow, that line of accessories, perfect, and you are the first to add a "gun sling" like system to carry it, great work, would be a great idea to add to the accessory or tripod line to make this MF and LF usable, aka using the side arm for live view on a digital back, or app based light meter, and also LF users can use the tablets for calculating bellows extension or filter factors, adding film data to note apps, plenty of uses, even adding flags for lens flare reduction. the screw on accessory bracket could also be adapted to fit filter holder bags, or lens caps, on a lanyard, so we don't lose them in the field.
Thank you for your comment
Can either stock clamp that originally comes with the g4 be removed easily ? Is the bolt locked down using loctite like many of the Arca Swiss clamps are ?
Yes, they can be removed easily. some have Loctite, but it can be removed fairly easily with some force. Our customers have no problem removing these themselves.
Thank you. Once removed , is the base of the ball head stem flat , or is it keyed that might make adding a different brands clamp not lay flat ?
@@corey688 At the beginning of the video, you can see the head without any clamp attached. The clamp needs to have a dovetail-shaped feature to match the head for it to work.
@@leofotousa thank you. See that now. Can the lever release clamp be mounted onto the gr2 panning part ? Keep the panning part of the gr2 base and remove the thumb screw top half , then bolt on the lever release clamp instead ?
@@corey688 No, it can't, since the GR-2 is an integrated system.
Can you use the so series for camera equipment?
Yes, of course. They are interchangeable.
Great f'n video! I am new to Leofoto. I just purchased a LM-364CL that is going to take the majority of the equipment use replacing a vary competent Sirui unit, (my gear is heavy for the Sirui). My gear is an Optolyth 100mm TBS APO/HD with the proprietary camera mount and a Nikon D7100.
Thank you 🙏🏾👍
I have this geared column, unfortunately I found the silver coloured "butterfly" locking part, at 1.52 can unscrew off if you turn it too many times. I have the heavier Gitzo geared column and the Benro geared column and both butterfly locking part stops to avoid unscrewing off. My one needs a redesign?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your perspective. We will forward your comments to the manufacturer for review and consider updates for future improvements.
Can you undersling and mount the ballhead on the bottom on your tripods?
If you acquire our DC-364C for a 75mm bowl and DC-404C center column for a 100mm bowl, then yes, these center columns can be installed in reverse to accommodate a ball head.
@@leofotousa Thank you!
Thank you 👍
Intresting, but does work in -20F (-30C) below zero.
yes, it does
at 4:17 makers CANT do that, ie long spikes, as then they could be classed as pointed weapons (aka spears or Japanese martial arts sticks ), so they would have to have made a compromise and did the size that they have.
a great head design, but a tip, for adding the head via screws to the systematic style 'summit' tripods, turn the head over, and add the systematic plate to the bottom, add screws, and then you don't have to fight with the legs!!, simple; also if you want to put a socket drive on the screws to add tension, you can add a long arca plate, and mount this rig in a vice (with soft jaws), facilitating a rigid mounting.
Keep the damn product in the frame
true
good video, but a question, does the LM and LN series work with camera equipment to?, as I am looking into this systematic idea as a platform for Large format monorail cameras.
Yes! they are originally designed for cameras.
Any plan to release a7c version of this wonderfull plate? :(
Apologies, but we currently do not have plans for this model.
Whut izzon disgize faes?
Can't close the lid when locked in place, no?
You can mount the four screws a bit farther, then you can close your computer.
Hi, may I know what is the function of the 3 set screws?
The screws on top are used for securing the leveling base.
Despite the bad video, where can I buy your products? I searched Amazon, BH, Ebay.. not finding this product available for sale. I have the G2 and love it, so I do trust the products, but want more range.
They are currently only available on our website here: leofotousa.com/collections/geared-heads
Hmmm.. I smell a shill comment in cahoots with the seller.
@@dogfood2525 Ha! Not at all douche! Really do love this G2.
I have the LH-36, and the friction knob is not designed properly! You have to tighten the knob extremely tight in order to get any friction, but then its too tight. There is no sweet spot as its too much or too little. Use a lot of force to tighten, then its too hard to move the ball head and its very sticky. I try to turn the knob the tiniest amount and its now too loose. Apparently Im not the first one to bring this up.
is the LB-65 the best base size for a LS-365C with LH-40?
Yes, it is
@@leofotousa Thank you!
Don't buy it unless you want a paperweight... the butterfy nut jams tight.
Thanks! Please post more videos of your products and booth.
Love the 324C I have the L version which I use a lot....also have the 365 which is a bit beefier that does not get as much use as it should.
Just because you can shoot a lens wide open doesnt mean you should. And clearly the tripod this video was the cheapest one you can find because the camera is wobbling all over the place. Also i'm very confused as to why continuous auto focus was enabled. 0/10 videography.
🙃 'promo sm'
Which leveling base would be recommended for the Poseidon 324c tripod that I have? I’m looking to pair one of these with the VH-30R head

How much is the weight of the plate?
There is no official weight published; we estimate it to be around 0.2 pounds.
I think you can buy center column and add
What are you using to mount to tripod
Leofoto LH-40 Ballhead
Hello, I have a Tripod and would like to use the MA-30L but not just with the small contact sufrace when I screw the 3/8 Thread in. Is there a larger plate (around 70mm) that has a 3/8 Thread at the bottom and on the top an opening for the MA-30L? Was thinking about getting the LS-364C or the LS-284 CEX aswell, which plate would you reccomend for these two? Thank you!
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we don't offer a mounting plate that meets your requirements. Our normal apexes with a 3/8'' thread as you mentioned have a small contact surface, and we don't have an alternative that accommodates the MA-30L with a larger surface area while maintaining compatibility.
@@leofotousa Would you just screw the 3/8" Thread into the MA-30L and use it as it is on top of a LS-XXX Tripod?
@@tobiastorsi Yes, that is the only way to connect MA-30L to such tripods.
And if i was to get a summit tripod (as shown at minute 4:57)? What is the name of this insert? Thank you! @@leofotousa
@@tobiastorsi Yes, for 75mm bowl size (LM-32X, LM-36X) it will be MA-75: leofotousa.com/products/leofoto-ma-75-75mmadapter for 100mm bowl size (LM-40X) it will be MA-100: leofotousa.com/products/leofoto-ma-100-100mm-adapter-adapter-only-head-not-included?_pos=1&_sid=ccbd05853&_ss=r
My goodness. You have got to be kidding me. You represent yourselves as a premiere photographic equipment sellers and put out videos like this. Did you all bother to review the footage of this video? The majority of your demonstration was off camera view! How embarrassing! How can you be taken seriously and expect the photographic community of pro and pro amateurs to shell out premium money for premium products when the sellers of said photographic equipment cannot even make a video!
this is crazy and funny at the same time. every kiddo could do a better video with an iphone strapped to the chest
I hope Lefoto will consider making a version that is compatible with the Manfrotto 501 quick release plate. That is more common for videographers than the Arca plates uses by photographers.
Sadly, Loud and Silver (reflective in sunlight). So, no good choice for Wildlife Photographers.
Paint them black. If you buy it, you own it, you can do whatever you want with it. plenty of people customize their tripods to their liking.
Everyone : " I'd sure like to see that thing fully extended " Me : "That's what she said!?!"
Hi, since you have the a7c ii version, could it fit the a7c version? From specs, the a7c ii only has thicker grip but body wise the same dimensions. Could you please test it?
unfortunately no, LPS-A7CR/A7C II is only suitable for Sony a7C II & a7CR
Can you shoot off of this tripod? Will the LH47 OR 55 ball head fit on this tripod?
You can certainly do it, as some individuals have, but this isn't truly a rifle tripod, and the apex is small. Therefore, the LH-55 would appear quite large on it; the LH-47 would be a better fit.
Can you attach Leofoto VD-03 Monopod Base Support?
Yes, all our monopods are designed to work with VD-03
Which leveling base to use with the LA324 version? Also DC322C extension or thinner?
Leveling base would be LB-60N or LB-65, and center column DC-322C or DC-282C both work
Greetings, Which leveling base for the Athena LA-324C? Should extension column DC322C be added to tripod first then level base or level base first then DC322C extension column?
Do any of your tripods have aluminum (not plastic) base that holds legs together to top of tripod?
we don't

Hello. I have the mentioned tripod - Leofoto Ranger 365 C. What kind of leveling base Guide do you recommend and what kind of video head to make it compatible with my tripod?
we recommend our LB-65 as the leveling base and BV-15 or BV-20 as the video fluid head
