Jason Todd. ❤
They did a not bad job with the general backstory in TITANS.
Super Man o melhor 💪🏻
Indeed.
“There’s a starmannnnnnnn”
Cool.
Michael Jordan maior de todos os tempos! Bela coleção 💥
É uma boa coleção. Não sei do que o outro cara está falando. E, como disse em um comentário para ele, o material de alta qualidade é mantido fora das câmeras.
Cool!
It's an old line. I tried to find a classic Superman but this was the closest I got.
Congrats on the Max Fleischer Mego Superman and so sorry about the package on the Toony Comics Superman. That Mego was my only must have from the USA BigLots elusive exclusives and I am thankful to have gotten him (and the other three eventually) Thanks for sharing!
Yeah. Thanks. The Toony one, this is/was my third effort getting it from Amazon. I don't know if it's just cheap glue across the production line or if it was storage conditions that dried it out hence the partial detach? Right now the plan is to send it back yet again and maybe find another retailer if the price point is right. I have a threshold for action figures/action figure types so for this one, I have a max in mind but definitely no higher.
I first experienced this on Facebook and now, on Twitter. It's like a pandemic. I hope writers - old and new - won't be tricked into these kinds of things. 💙💙💙💙
That is one of the reasons for this open letter video. I fully recognize I'm a small voice in a big pond, but at least it was stated. Feel free to share this video with others who you might think are at risk. I was once taken advantage of way early in my writing career. I do not want that for anyone else.
@@apfuchs I've been pushing off these scammers for quite some time now. Rest assured that most of us has made their presence and their schemes known. I just hope they will stop 💙💙💙💙
I did not watch the TV show, but the figure looks so cool.
It's a really cool figure. It's the simplicity of it that I enjoy. So simple yet it says what it needs to say.
I wished that they had made these when I was a kid.
Agreed. Still, I did love making up my own cars from the pieces I had available.
that usa hat is hot 🔥
It's a solid collection. There were quite a few high-end and very rare items not shown for collector privacy. Since it wasn't my collection, and out of respect for a fellow collector, I kept to the shelves for the video. What you saw is probably half of the full collection, but again, some things had to stay off camera.
Super mint!
It's awesome. I've got a Max Fleischer version in my shopping cart at present. That one is also sweet.
Nobody can fault your covers. They're always really good.
Awww, thanks. I just try and include those three elements each time.
Congrats buddy!
Really happy about them. Got to put a sticker in an Axiom-man book order just yesterday as a bonus. (I always put at least one treat along with direct orders.)
Why do people have to be so rude?!
Because we lived in a brainwashed me-first society. A quick glance at the media shows that's all it feeds us. Sad but true. The real secret to life is one word: Others.
I wish this would help stop the spammers but most likely it will help the creators not feel privately targeted. Such is the nature of spam and cold call sales in general… they are a pain in the butt and computers make it sooooo much easier for the spammers and it is zero personal at the creator being targeted. I try to use my email spam and Junk mail filters and curate my social media algorithms… but in a perfect world we shouldn’t have to. Spam is the junk mail and robocalls of our generation
This goal with this video was simply to give creators a voice. Something they could see. Will it stop the nonsense? Maybe at best it'll deter one person. But at least it's been said.
@@apfuchs agreed !
Looks like a Corrado
Such a cool car!
Interesting point about writer’s block! Thanks!
You're welcome. I hope it made sense in the illustration and multiple hand gestures lol. But in the end, there's often points in a story where nothing new needs to be said . . . not yet . . . so this solution gets you over the hump so you can indeed say new things.
Fake
Which is fine by me. As said in the video, it'll be my bootleg edition.
Sometimes there is value in a bootleg not acquired on purpose as such … I have two items in my FanCave that are straight up bootleg that appeared to be legit online to those who bought them to give to me … so they have extra sentimental value as a result
Superman is my favourite!
Mine too ever since I was about three years old.
Good stuff
It's a helpful technique. Tackling artist's block is the next one.
Happy to have discovered your channel!
Thank you. I hope you stick around, especially for Story Time on Sundays.
@@apfuchs I'm intrigued!
@@EmmaBennetAuthor Tune in on Sundays via this channel. Current episodes, KZread-wise, are available in a listen/watch version here on KZread and audio-only on KZread Music. The Realm of Heroes and Monsters: Story Time podcast with A.P. Fuchs. We're about a handful of episodes into season two.
@@EmmaBennetAuthor Hope you tune in! :)
Thanks for the insight
Hope it helps. Writer's block is a head thing. All it needs is a step back, an objective look, and it's gone. The material is already there. As said in the video, you've simply come to a point where enough new info has been shared and needs some growth so further new info can occur.
A classic scene given a great Pop treatment!
Agreed. It's too bad the light reflects off the package but I'm an in-package collector so has to be done. But up close, they truly did nail Superman and Lois and I was particular impressed that they rendered the S as per the movie instead of the comics (no black lines). Very cool.
Very cool!
First step in the overall Axiom-man merchandising plan. I have some cool things lined up. The goal is to have all ready for comic con in late October.
These are cute and love the packaging as well
When I saw the set, I had to have it. Plus the actual cartoon of this is well done too!
Love Dick Grayson! My personal favorite figure is the Figures Toy Company Nightwing in the Perez Disco suit in a Mego style. But I like all Nightwing figures
So...you're saying you like disco? lol
@@apfuchs Disco Nightwing suit … absolutely!! But I also personally owned two Memebers Only jackets and one Miami Vice style jacket too … so my taste in the ‘80’s was questionable. I even owned a $100 pair of black adidas to be like Run- DMC
Very cool keychain! Enjoyed and subscribed!
Awesome! Thank you! I love the keychain too!
If you need help editing your videos i can help. I have finished some courses and want to practice a little. Anyway. I wish you the best
Thanks. I just film and go. It's just a fun hobby, nothing more.
What is the size of these? Stylisticly they look like a cross between Superpowers and Imaginex with their articulation points … and it looks like most have a mouth articulation that I don’t recall seeing on any action figure line in a very long time. Would love to have sat in on the discussions around the designs of these figures and why they did what they did for an original line. Obviously with something like Megos or Superpowers it’s just “do what we did before” (and both are nailing it) but to be able to create a new line had to be exciting!
The packaging is quite big, about 8.5" x 11". The figures themselves are about 5".
Very cool!!
More cool Superman Stuff!!
He's my guy. I have plenty of Superman collectibles that I haven't shown on this channel. I mainly collect Superman action figures, Funkos, and hot wheels, but I do have some unusual Superman items like that Superman 8-ball on this channel.
Cap is my favorite comic book character.
He's pretty awesome. As he acted in the MCU, he's very Superman-ish.
I love your figure collection. But you and other collectors would be angry with me. I will open up the packages and play with them.
Everyone likes their collection a certain way. I know plenty of guys who pull out their action figures for display and/or creating diaramas.
@@apfuchs My little daughter likes to take different figures and match them up with girl dolls. I have a 12 inch Captain America figure that is married to one of her Barbies.
Lol Too funny!
Thank you. Great advice.
Hope you found it encouraging and helpful. It's not saying to not care and put a crappy book. It's just putting things in context in the world that we live with much bigger issues than an accidental oopsy in a book.
This is great advice! I need to write this on a post it on my wall to remind myself!
Like I just commented to someone else, it's not saying don't care. It's simply asking the writer to put things in context compared to all the stuff going on in the world right now and, in the end, hopefully relieve a little pressure.
I really want to start writing. I've always wanted to be a writer but I never pursued it. Horrible at grammar❤
The only way to start writing is to start writing. You learn as you go. Write a lot. Read a lot. You'll be okay.
Good advice!
Thanks. Just meant to encourage others to relax about their project as we can so easily get way too wound up in them.
Fun shopping trip!
They always are!
Nice spotlights ! I’ve got some but not all and they are great
Thanks. I have more shorts compilations planned. It's just an issue of time to put them together. They'll get done one by one. I have a list.
He got a finger between his legs, 😂😂
I have a few of the newer ones in various styles but i remember having an original as kid … probably more than one be cause I wore my Megos out playing with them when I was little. Now I ones on display to enjoy differently. Good video!
I'm tempted on the Batman and Robin solely to honor Adam West and Burt Ward.
@@apfuchsthey are spectacular as I am fortunate enough to have all four of the Big Lots USA variants.
@@tedadamgreen I need to see your collection somehow.
do you know if there is a Biography/book about Harvey Pekar?
It's self-titled as simply: AMERICAN SPLENDOR. Lots of AS books to choose from, but the self-titled one is a good place to start. Here: amzn.to/4aKfT63
This is a GREAT walk-n-talk!! All of these are amazing I think Funko is its own worse enemy… they are all great but overwhelming in variety Love the hot wheels as well
Glad you enjoy my trips. Yeah, Funko is everywhere with every kind right now.
Zoro from wish
I love Zorro.
there is a distinct lack of sword-related tools in that figurine.
Agreed. A vial of Iocaine (sp?) powder would have been a cool accessory.
It’s still bloody weird how he is the guy that cuts his foot off and saw
He's fairly versatile as an actor.
