Hey , I have this washer dryer in my rental and just wondering if you have had any issues with clothes shrinking and want to know if you have a suggestion on what setting I should wash and dry on ? Thank you ❤
To be honest I find that with all dryers I have used! But yes, shrinkage has happened only the usual that I expect with cotton and tumble dryers!
Already had a replacement, same problem again - spins OUT OF CONTROL where other machines slow to re-balance the load. This machine just goes for a full speed spin! Housing destroyed, freyed wires from the drum inside (tripped the house) Howdens will be hearing from me! Going back to John Lewis - best value machine I ever bought.
We have had a few issues with this machine now - will be doing an updated video! Howdens were helpful for us though sent an engineer out 3x for repairs although it was in warranty still was yours?
I got the same one stoped working after 1 year and harden not helpful at all I would avoid this make cant get PCB and no one to talk to, avoid this make
I am going to do an updated video as we had a few issues with over the last couple of weeks with ours!

Hey on the left hand side when you turn the dial you will see options in red they are either wash & dryer options at first then last two synthetics and cottons and dry only options! Hope that helps :)
I’m from the US and very interested in Howdens. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you select Howdens? Does the company do the install or do you hire a contractor? What if you just needed a new appliance- would you buy at Howdens as well? Thanks
You order through a specialist installer but you can visit the showroom and choose materials and colours!

Thank you we love it so much. It does feel so much bigger and brighter. It’s amazing what can be done! I don’t know the actual kitchen cost as it was part of a renovation project including bathroom, porch, windows and French doors, decorating everywhere so I honestly don’t know! A year and a bit on and the units are the same as the day we got them. I was worried with it being the paintable range whether they would chip but they seem fine. The unit attached to the built in fridge detached from the fridge door but they sent a part straight out that we needed to re attach it with.

This Lamona machine is one of the loudest spin cycles I've ever heard. It vibrates so much. Only had it on 3 washes and its going back to Howdens. Shocking.
Yes it can be loud on spin. I thought we were maybe noticing it more because we went open plan!

Yes it’s an art form in itself! Poor baby bear is obsessed with baking and he’s stuck with me as a parent! Luckily we’ve nailed cookies and brownies Debs! Any easy cake recipes you know from work?
BRAND NEW MACHINE THEY RATTLE LIKE HELL. SOUNDS AS IF SOMEONE IS COMING DOWN THE ROAD BEATING A BIG DRUM AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
It is noiser than my Bosch was for sure! Especially as we went open plan!

Can I ask if your washer dryer gets hot on top when you use it.? My guess is it is normal but just has one fitted and I’ve never used one before.
I will be honest because it’s fitted in I haven’t noticed - I would get in touch with Howdens though it could be a fault and you wouldn’t want to leave it in case!
Ok did a 5kg wash and dry and yes top feels hot x
Thank you for the review 🥰 I’m about to refurb my kitchen with howdens and a bit skeptical about buying their own brand rather than a Bosch washer dryer. Would you say this is defo worth it for the price? Is it quiet when both washing and drying as I have an open plan kitchen and living room
We have open plan too you can hear it when it spins in the living room but we tend to put it on early - the drying cycle is relatively quiet it’s more the wash cycle. We had the Bosch - you can see my reviews on here but I feel the Lamona is compatible for the difference in price!

Mechanically very good. The big weakness/mistake made by Bosch is that it doesn't have a reverse tumbling drum. This is not a problem for small items of clothing but everything else rolls up in ball. Unravelling is required throughout the drying process - otherwise the single-direction tumbling drum turns many items including bed sheets into (undried) tightly-wound ropes.They make good fire-escape tools from high windows!!

No I don’t think so
Hopefully you haven't found out the hard way! No they don't reverse & if you are drying sheets,you just end up with a soggy centre ball.

This is the very worst washing machine I have ever owned. It does not wash well, the washes are mostly far too long, it doesn't spin properly, and it is not quiet at all. Waste of space. Also, it continuously keeps refusing the empty the water, so you have to mess around with the stupid little pipe at the bottom of the machine to drain it, Then, to cap it all there is no way to get the door open. Grrr
We had no issues at all with this machine!

It’s a great day out - this video just shows the new atreaction the rest of the Park has lots to see and do from animals including Lions, Tigers,, Minkeys, Penguins, Zebras,, farm animals plus loads more to a huge adventure playground to an indoor soft play and a paddling pool! It’s got lots to see and do x

I bought this washing machine a month ago to replace my oh-so-crappy Samsung EcoBubble (such a huge disappointment, almost dead after 2.5 years). I just love it. So straightforward, simple to use and so silent. There was another problem with the Samsung machine: some water remained in the machine after the draining, with foul smelling involved. My laundry was always smelling unclean. No such trouble with this Bosch washing machine.
If some water remains in the machine at the end of the circle it is because you don’t clean properly the filter... 🤮
