The tension and build up in these movies are no longer in modern films. Sergio Leone and the music of Ennio Morricone, they pulled of a cinematic masterstroke and Eastwood cemented a legend.

If u want to see the second best Western movie of all time after this & The Good The Bad & The Ugly then watch "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" , Its a complete masterpiece tho it starts off a bit slow & is all in blk n white but when the movie actually gets going , its amazing because its pretty damn savage & realistic for its time & Lee Van Cleef is also in it as one of the main villains henchmen & its one of Cleegs earlier roles!!!! Its got John Wayne , James Stewart , Lee Marvin (as one of the greatest villains ever) & Strothers Martin who is another great villain & Lee Van Cleef!!! Btw...Steven Spielberg actually approved this comment , its his favorite film of all time so that should tell u its worth watching & checking out if u like westerns ❤
