That's... Not true. The system can't release pressure until it senses lockup. It can't sense lockup if there is no lockup. Tires HAVE to lockup before ABS can do it's thing. And then abs releases, only for lockup to occur again. The tires still end up rotating slower than the linear distance. Just not completely locked up, and not contagious nupuspy locked up.

Both sides get to pick jury candidates and they both have to agree on all twelve. The pool they pick from is random as far as I'm aware

There is a jury pool. As an example, if I get called for jury duty, I will take a day off from work and show up to the court in the morning. I'll wait in a big waiting room with other potential jurors to be called in for interview like you're seeing in this video. When you get to the interview, the judge will ask you questions like is there a reason why you can't judge fairly. If you say no, then the attorneys from both side can ask you questions to rule you out as needed. I've never gotten picked as a juror, so I don't have first hand knowledge of what happens after.
