Aldrich is an amazing ELECTRIC guitar player, but i miss the subtle and more expressive playing of Adrian Vandenberg on the acoustic.... Aldrich's acoustic tone and style of playing is so abrasive that it takes away from the songs.

Call the police ! This guy stole my future .😂Nobody told me that Purple were looking for a new singer ! . Wonderful recollections of a really nice guy who's dream came true . I'd have had my larynx removed to have got the chance to sing with Purple. 🤣🤣Brilliant !!!

It's May 2024 and I am so glad It found me. I have been a big fan since I first heard them on the radio, I bought the cassette and I played that tape every which way but loose, I still sing those songs with or without music or the video's. I never saw them in concert but thanks to KZread I can now. But this Cutting Room Concert of David Coverdale alone is a Treasure. If they ever Tour near me I will go without Supper to get the money for a Ticket, it will be worth every meal missed.

Are they really playing those Guitars Not it's off album Track that's John Sykes on Guitar but he's not on stage Coverdale is Singing live and Tommy in Drums he's playing them guess can't fake that if Sykes was watching this he say Un Fuckin Believable there's No way Vandenberg or Campbell sound exactly like the Album and they didn't in Concert.

Vai is one helluva a guitarist no doubt and his resume speaks for itself ...with that said, this doesn't make him a good dancer. Amazing guitarist, sure. Amazing dancer, not so much. Also, I'm a big Vai fan as any but he didnt "replace" Malmsteen, he didnt' replace EVH. In fact as far as playing anything EVH he wasn't great at it considering. He didnt replace Sykes and didnt lift Whitesnake to another level considering the paycheck he got. Outside of a handful of songs in Zappa, 'Blue Powder' and 'The Attitude Song' .....can't think of anything else that sticks. You know who's an amazing guitarist? Bumblefoot. You know who's an amazing guitarist who could dance? Prince. Also, if Coverdale saw Rudy sitting on the stage, I think he would have been gone that night.
