  I been seeing alot of this coming around again and as someone who has African American and caucasian that im directly created from but I came out white as the driven snow I get alot of hate because I've worn locs for years and even tho my hair isn't straight , it's textured and has a water wave natural flow I have gotten so much hate and been told im culturally appropriating and I don't see it that way, if we can marry different cultures and have children is that culturally appropriating to? And that's really the breakdown, if I eat at Chinese restaurant and use chop sticks am I culturally appropriating? We are in an age where every culture is mixing and having children, while it's always important to respect other cultures and be aware of struggle at the same time pushing an intolerant agenda doesn't do anything but hurt when it really should be 1 love, love for your fellow human and be proud that other people want to be a part of other cultures and spread knowledge, love, tolerance and acceptance, not hate and tare others down. 🫶🫶🏻🫶🏽🫶🏾🫶🏿

  For about 3 years boy bands and generic female singers ruled the top of the charts. He exploded onto the scene and not only knocked them off but caused their formulaic nature to become glaring compared to his authenticity...the closest comparison would be like a rapper having the balls to diss Taylor Swift and take on her fanbase in the current day (even though swift is far more talented than the pop stars in the late 90s) It wasnt just shock value...it was a win for the underdog and telling the record labels that they at least have to be more clever in packaging the stars that they push
