  @@folisimscalpmicropigmentat7133 Yes, it is an alternative to hair loss. But this ad also implies that hair loss is a problem. The man says "I struggled with hair loss, and it really affected my confidence". I am a woman who has been completely bald (by choice) many times. The stigma remains, and it is fed by ads such as these. It is quite strange that this ad came up for me. Google knows I am female.

  @@trendkiller6611 No stigma is intended by these ads, they are purely to advise people of their options. While some people such as yourself, are not bothered by their hair loss and totally rock the bald look, others are deeply effected by it. We are here for those that would like an alternative. For those that are content with their hair loss, we absolutely support you in your self confidence.

  @@folisimscalpmicropigmentat7133 If my shaved head is by choice, does it still count as hair "loss"? I didn't lose my hair, I shaved it off. I had a full head of healthy hair. By calling it hair "loss" it sounds like you are implying that my hair cut is not entirely by choice.

  @@trendkiller6611 If you have a full head of hair and choose to shave it, that is not classified as hair loss. This treatment has been developed specifically for those who are experiencing hair loss. There are many causes of hair loss with male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness being the most common. With males, they usually choose to shave the remaining hair and add Scalp Micropigmentation to make it look like they have a full head of hair but choose to shave it (as with the guy in the video) With females, we add Scalp Micropigmentation to the thinning hair to give the illusion of thicker hair.

  Hi Mara, Foli Sim SMP is considered permanent however depending on further hair loss, sun exposure and your immune system touch ups may be required in 3-5 years.
