I agree, this is the method I would use, I don’t like the hammering in method myself, Incidentally with the steering stem bearing removal tool, as I don’t have a hydraulic press, I have made up a system to use this tool, so I can wind the new bearing into place on the stem. This also prevents having to hammer the new bearing into place on the stem!!

They say each roller bearing is matched to their respective outer race, In other words don’t mix the races up if you have a pair of bearings and races!!

Great explanation, thank you. I'm wondering why my front wheel is slightly closer to the brake side fork? Is this normal? I would assume it should be dead center.

Tomac ist the only guy I have ever seen bouncing off of the rev limiter like that on a 450. Yeah sure I can do it on my 250 as well, but on a 450 with a hot engine in it?

It's a trick of feathering the clutch.... It generates high fly wheel revolutions and when clutch is disengaged provides bumps of torque to the rear wheel.... Almost like an impact gun has the highest torque at the initial button push... Indy and F1 cars do this feathering technique to generate jolts of torque for passes, show a wheel etc.... Tomac has long professed he slips the clutch over whoops/dragon back to generate the torque wanted for obstacles
