Symptoms of a Capitalist system. If I had a roommate as unstable as Capitalism- I’d move out.
Americans have a blindness, they assume conservatism is necessarily right of centre, and they label the left of centre as liberal. This is nonsense. Conservatism is just progressivism with the brakes on. Luberalism is progressivism without constraint. There is a need to identify and value the private. Private society (the family, private social clubs and privately own businesses). There is a need to critically assess the need and true cost of intervening in situations where the private sector appears to be unable to absorb economic and societal shocks without fatal damage.
For the sake of Liberal Democracy, we cannot characterise the new Woke religion as left or right wing. Critical Social Justice is anti-liberal, just as antiluberal as all the other forms of totalitarian government that rose and fell during the 20th century. Marxism was given a nominal position on the left wing of liberalism simply to put distance between our allie Uncle Joe Stalin and our great foe Adolf Hitler. In truth National Socialism, and it's sister Fascism are neither right or left wing. All three are outside the Classical Liberal spectrum of views. Since Critical Social Justice ( Wokeism) has been identified as arising from post war neo-Marxists struggling to bring about what Marx's inevitable revolution, the nonsense positioning of these pathetic creatures on the left has been the simplest 'bin' to place them in. In truth, the Classical Liberal debate is one of a struggle to establish just how much the state should intrude into the private world of family and private business is appropriate. Libertarianism - minimal intrusion by the state inro the private realm - is the far right. Social Democratic discourse wherein the state is given control over society's commons - shared infrastructure and institutions is about as far left as liberalism can go. Any further left and it bleeds into totalitarianism of true Socialism. It is vital for Liberal Democracy to foster a healthy and respectful debate between the wide spectrum of liberal positions - left and right. Wirhout an ongoing arguing of values we will inevitably descend into authoritarian totalitarianism.

One reason and one reason only - Governments printing money for stimulus and to soften the value of their debt repayments in real terms. Especially in the west! Not wages, not demand, not supply. It’s the lowering of the value of money through excessive printing.
