That knot never holds, never. And it burns the line even if you wet it.
You may not be tying it correctly. A lot of top level pros use it.
Great video! Question how do I set my unit up with 2 foot increments ?
Depth has to be 20’ or less Distance has to be 50’ or less
😂😂😂😂😂😂 wish there was MORE!! I enjoy watching you two guys having fun!!!!
Whats your go to rod and reel for shellcracker

Hey I love that little minnow bait. Do you know which color mag minnow it is? Is it the gizzard shad color?
And how long is that one? I’m trying to find them online. All I find are 3 inch and 5 inch and yours looks smaller than that
Ozark smoke color
@@CrappieMonster are you using the 3 inch?
Was there last week with in a mile of where yall are and smoked them on laydowns.
I really like that lake.
Bro...thanks for the entertaining video....but please enlighten us.... That dropshot lead weight, how is that rigged to the line and what is the weight of that lead? Can I use another jig head opposed to the lead weight (essentially tandem jig style) thus doubling my opportunity to catch em? What type line (Braid... Mono... Fluorocarbon...)? Are you on a main river channel ledge? How many feet should we start searching for feeding fish? What time of year is it here on this video, late winter? Early Spring? Fall? What size/ounce jig head?
1/4 oz pencil weight with a rubber bobber stop above and below it. Guthrie tackle brand weight. I don’t suggest it a second jig. It’s just an extra chance to get hung up. I did that for a while. 6# Gamma mono line. I’m on a flat beside the main channel on the main lake. This was in late March of this year. Right now start in 12’ of water.
Thanks for all the tips, I really need them.😊
Thanks for watching!
After a three month rebuild of my boat I finally got everything back together and LiveScope wouldn't show up on my screen.... Very frustrating going through everything to make sure connections were good and power was good! After several hours of pulling my hair out, I stumbled upon this video and it worked! Thank you so much for the solution. I couldn't imagine this happening on the water, I'm so glad I found this video!
We’ve got a lot of other videos with tips and tricks. Glad we could help!
I been fishing reelfoot for 15 years of my 19 years of life in a little aluminum Jon boat. Haven’t been able to get on the big bluegills yet but maybe one day
You will. It’s actually just now getting really good.
where did you get those rod holders?
I think he had those special made.
I love your videos, you are always teaching. Very helpful! Thanks
You’re welcome! I like getting more people into fishing.

I’m a big fan of them!
In a few years when all the big crappies are gone and you’re only catching small ones you can blame it on Live-scope type devices . I see anglers coming in with 2-3 person limits daily when 5 years ago that wasn’t the case. You and your wife probably wouldn’t have caught these fish if technology wasn’t making it easier to see the fish underwater.
Down scan ruined it, then side scan ruined it, and now livescope ruined it. It has always been completely on the angler to practice conservation. We currently have zero frozen crappie. We catch what we want to eat and throw the rest back! People catching double and triple limits happens almost solely from the bank during the spawn.
i have a lvs32 and changing to a lvs34 should the settings be the same, ive got the 32 dialed in pretty good hoping there is going to be a difference between the 2. i have 3 units networked to the black box, will i need to update all 3 seperately or if i update one unit will update all 3 if they are all powered on, thx for the video keep them coming
Using active captain I believe it will update all at the same time. If the units are not the same using a memory card will only do one at a time.
Settings will be really close to the same
That's some good eatin right thurr!😊
When I disable my sonar with the power button my livescope freezes also not sure how to turn off one without the other
Is your side scan and livescope ran to the same unit?
@@CrappieMonster I have 2 units networked together and yes they both show side scan and livescope
I'm looking up Rod when i get the chance once I'm come up there in my kayak. Rod Sealman Sealman Marine On Lake Palestine. Great video and Fo Sho some great fish caught.
Nice video and nice fish!! I make fishing videos too and I love watching yours!! Keep up the awesome job!! 🤜🤛💪
Thanks! Will do!
Some of these are assumptions but I would say 1. Break Tip for pool 2. Tubing 3. Idk 4. Downspout 5. Flower Pot 6. A fan or a ventilator
Love this channel . Always learning . What type of zip ties are you guys taking about that don’t pinch the wire ?I had my live scope taped with electrical tape and two zip ties on it until I heard you say NO ZIP TIES on transducer wire . Ran out to my barn and cut them off . I run my LVS34 on a separate trolling motor dedicated to live scope . I just removed the engine from it . Foot control is nice . Also bought some Crappie Monster jigs . Margarita is outstanding !!!! Keep up the great work . I feel like your channel is more informative than any I have watched . Been subscribed for a while now . 🎣
Thank you!! You’ll have to call them because I can’t remember the name of them. They have them in stock. (270) 293-5882
OMG Jeremy! Man I been trying to get down there for a while now. I need to get my hands on one of those 3 LBS Crappie for sure..just ask Chris Guthrie what we were talking about. I gotta do it soon.
What line do you use? Great job
6# gamma mono
Subscribed as well
Thank you!
Who ever sent me this just not. She's putting on the fish like she's the Hard Hitta right it the gate.
I always enjoy your videos Jeremy.
Thank you
Love it. Hope I am able to go next week. Would love to pull some crappie and bluegill in for a few days! Great show. By The Way, why did Brittany catch more than you? 🤣
😂😂 she kept taking my rod!
Great video.
Thank you
I really enjoy your videos. I'm in California. I also really enjoyed your clear lake video. We are starting tournament series out here. Love to see you in February at clear lake
There’s a very good possibility of that happening!!!!
@@CrappieMonster that sounds great. Bring a bunch of your guys out here. I look forward to meeting you
If you don’t have power poles, can you attach the trolling motors to the back of your boat where the outboard is?
Yes. The easiest way is to drill holes in a flat piece of metal and attach it to your jack plate. Thats so they’re away from your motor a little.
Another great video. I’m going tomorrow.
Good luck! Hope you catch a cooler full.
What transducer are you running on this Basscat? Are those two 56 transducers?
Yes
So you are saying that the Navionics on the Garmin are as good or better than Humminbird Lakemaster Charts?
IMO yes.
Learn so damn much watching your channel . I have my LVS34 mounted on a separate trolling motor . Accidentally pinched the main wire on the trolling motor . Had to replace the transducer . Jig was showing up in 180 * out . Put a new LVS 34 and problems gone . Have the wire running through rubber cushioned cable clamps . Then electrical tape on main wire at foot of trolling motor . Had two zip ties on it until I watched your program . You said DON’T use zip ties your live scope cable . I ran out to my barn and cut them off immediately. What type of special zip ties are you and Jason are taking about that support the live-scope wire on ? I’d like to put some on my boat . Also bought some crappie monster margarita baits . They are awesome . Just caught our first limit of crappie last week with the wife . We had been trying for a year now . Learn more every trip out . Your channel is extremely helpful . Thank you for helping so many fishermen new and veterans . 🎣
Need to do shellchacker video on that lake
I have two from Barkley on here. I haven’t fished Ky side for them yet.
I’m in a 15’ 5’ wide Tracker Jon boat called THE CRAPPIE WHISPERER!!! 😊 and I have a 80lb thrust Ultrex with a 126sv Garmin and a Lvs32 Livescope and no big motor so I fish whatever bay I put in at and I bust the big boats azz as far as how many crappie I catch!!! Believe it!! I’m looking for someone who has a nice bass boat rigged with the electronics you are speaking about to partner with and go fish in some tournaments? 😊😊😊
Love my Bass Cat Caracal but I need to research relocating the trolling motor like this video. Thanks for the vidio
Dude thats a hog! That’s a wall hanger in my book
I think you should invest in a new scale….
Didn’t you enter a contest to get a chance to win a free guide trip with me?
@@CrappieMonster I know I did 😎 When we going??
Great video, would love to see more LiveScope footage
Nice video, but just to let ya know a pro bass fisherman proved that Ice has absolutely no Chlorine in it
I'm sure this is a dumb question I just got live scope and they didn't ship the network cable with it so I figured I'll get everything hooked up and have it ready for the network cable and be done I hooked the power up to the black box and I get that red light and then nothing do I have to have the network cable and transducer connected for the black box to operate correctly?
Yes.
Never fished Gernada lake but looks amazingly good for big crappies! Awesome job out there. Have a great weekend and be safe out there fishing 🎣🎣💯💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
